Can't wait for the first fued between Totti and Tinkerman.
It was reported that Spalletti resigned after a heated argument with totti which added more to it.

I can only imagine how that conversation went.

Luciano Spalletti: "Francesco? I have to tell you something"

Francesco Totti: "What's that, coach?"

LS: "You Suck"

FT: "What???"

Ls: "You heard me, You suck"

FT: "No, I don't"

LS: "Yes you do"

FT: "No, I don't"

LS: "Do too"

FT: "Do not"

LS: "Do too"

FT: "I'm telling Rosella on you"

LS: "Go Ahead. I'm fucking her, you know"

FT: "No you're not"

LS: " Yes I am"

FT: "Are not"

LS: "I am"

fFT: "not"

LS: "am"

Was there supposed to be a funny part of that or something?

It amuses me hearing all these folk saying that Ranieri will put Roma into a bigger mess than they are now.

I wonder if they are the same folk who predicted we would finish about 8th in out first season after Serie B?

Ranieri may play uglier football than Spalletti, but I bet Roma will do no worse with Ranieri than they would have done if they hadn't changed coaches.

I think it's to early to make predictions, Ranieri could turn out to be an excellent choice for Roma. But honestly I never thought Spalleti was a bad coach for Roma either it was just that the club kept selling his good players and refusing to buy him new ones.

But why the change?!! If they allready know that the problem is not spalletti but rather the owners who are selling one of their star players atime almost every single year just to survive.

the situation with Roma and spalletti is the same situation between ancielotti and milan. Both clubs are not willing to invest yet they want to be on top !!

Roma had pretty decent records both in the league and in europe up untill last season with spalletti.

Remember that Spalletti quit; he was not sacked.

Roma are broke and won't do anything until they get a new owner. Spalletti just got fed up.

The final thing was that Aquilani was sold on the basis he would get a new striker. The club failed to secure a new striker (supposedly they nearly got Van Nistelrooy) so he decided to quit.

You pretty much nailed it but they didn't sell him to get a new striker. After they sold him they said that they'll keep the money for wages, which makes it 10 times worst.

Yeah, they said that after the sale.

I believe they justified the sale at the time by saying it would fince a deal for a striker.

In reality, they needed to sell Aquilani to make up for the loss of CL revenue.

If Rosella Sensi really wanted to do right by the supporters and the history of that club, she would have sold them already to George Soros.

To me, she's got it stuck in her head that she is carrying on the tradition of her father. As much of a whiner and complainer that Franco Sensi was, even he would have known at this point to give up the ghost, and sell the team already.

They have the infrastructure in place to be extremely successful, if only they would sell the club to someone who would invest in it.

Was the sale to Soros blocked because he is a foreigner?

Crap, no tradition...she wants to pull as much money as she can while she's still the owner because her company is 400mln euros in debts.

Soros didn't come because she invented the offer from some Arabs apprently which isn't even allowed so she might be in trouble with the law now.

Wouldn't selling the club basically eliminate all of the company's debts??

I could only imagine what A.S. Roma would be worth.

I don't know why fans don't go berserk when they have this transfer market

- Motta 3.5 mln € (50%)
- Guberti 0 €
- Burdisso 0 €
- Lobont- loan
- Zamblera- loan
- Andreolli – back from loan
- Antunes- back from loan
- Faty – back from loan
- Cerci – back from loan
- Esposito – back from loan
- Okaka-Chuka – back from loan

looks like it's Atalanta, not Roma.

I think they are to the point where they are numb to it, to be honest. I'm still surprised their official website is still running
