Di Vaio scored 7 goals in his 1st season and 11 in his second. That's not bad of course, but Di Vaio was a pure striker while Amauri offers much more than scoring goals. "Faaaar better" is pushing it a little, but in his debut season for Juve Amauri was better than Di Vaio ever was for our team.
I thought Di Vaio did a decent job coming in to replace David when he was injured that one season. Big shoes to fill and Marco scored some important ones during the first half of the season.
Yes, it's easy to point out the flops in the long long career Moggi had in Juve. You have to gamble on a player sometimes and it might end up to a flop. It's just normal. Moggi sucks for what he did to us in the end but you can't deny that he was a genius in signing players. Secco is an imbecile comparing to him.

Sorry to interrupt, what happened with knazevic, i haven't heard much from him, and I didn't see him in juve senior squad in Juventus.com

We had him on loan here but we decided not to buy him at the end of his loan spell so he returned to his club Livorno.
We never owned Knezevic. He was here on loan only.
I believe that Ranieri was paid to give oppurtunity players like Knazevic, Mellberg, Molinaro... to play for Juve, so they can put on their cv that they played for JUVE
I remember Di Vaio scoring a stunning volley in Milano against Milan. Great goal! It was a one-two with Trez, who lifted the ball abit and Di Vaio murdered Abbiati I think
