I find it very intresting that in a betting constitution in my country called Winner the odds for the CL puts Milan above us. meaning they are more likely to win it
Well we have been better than Milan for the past years we finished last season with the same points altough we had Ranieri, Kaka and Maldini left without seeing Milan buy a proper replacement while we bought Diego Melo and Cannavaro which means we should be strengthen... and still Milan are above us in the betting odds. and I heard from you there is another place that put Milan above us I just can`t get it I don`t see Milan as a contender for any title maybe accept the Berlusconi cup or the Coppa Italia where all the best team put their second string team. Is there really a person if he is a Juve fan Milan fan or what so ever that really think that Milan are better than us?!

Hleb rejects Inter switch Wednesday 29 July, 2009

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Barcelona midfielder Aliaksandr Hleb has refused to join Inter on loan, leading the Nerazzurri to turn their attention to Deco and Antonio Cassano.

Hleb was supposed to move to Inter as part of the deal that saw Inter swap Zlatan Ibrahimovic for Samuel Eto'o and £40m.

However, La Gazzetta dello Sport understands Hleb has rejected the proposal and is now seeking a return to Stuttgart where he played between 2000 and 2005.

The news will not affect the transfers of Ibrahimovic and Eto'o. Reports suggest Barcelona will have to pay another £4m to complete the deal.

Inter are now considering making another bid for Deco, the Chelsea midfielder, who played under Jose Mourinho at Porto.

Inter came very close to signing the Portugal international earlier this summer, but Chelsea asked for too much money.

The Blues wanted nearly £18m for Deco and Ricardo Carvalho, both of whom are over 30.

In light of Chelsea's demands, Inter are profiling other candidates for the role behind the strikers, the most notable being Wesley Sneijder, Antonio Cassano and Ezequiel Lavezzi.

Reports claim Real Madrid have slapped a £12m asking price on Sneijder, which apparently makes him £6m cheaper than Cassano and nearly £10m cheaper than Lavezzi.

I really hope they won't get Cassano. Just imagine him and Mourinho. :p

No but seriuosly, if this move happens I expect Cassano to be player of the season. If he doesn't sign for Inter I'm sure we'll sign him next season, don't know why.

Cassano and Eto'o might be a good match. He could supplement the creativity they lost with Ibra and Eto'o (and Milito) will happily bang in the goals.

I'd prefer them not to get Cassano, but I wouldn't shit my pants if they did..

If Cassano made Pazzini look like a world class striker :shifty: I can't and don't really want to imagine what would he do with Eto'o.

Cesar/Toldo ---- Buffon/Manninger

Maicon/J. Zanetti ---- Zebina/Grygera
Santon ---- Molinaro/De Ceglie
Cordoba/Samuel ---- Chiellini/Caceres
Lucio/Chivu ---- Cannavaro/Legrottaglie

Cambiasso/Vieira ---- Melo/ C.Zanetti
Muntari ---- Sissoko/ Marchisio
Thiago Motta ---- Camoranesi/ Tiago

Cassano/ Stankovic ---- Diego / Giovinco

Eto'o / Suazo ----Del Piero/ Iaquinta
Milito / Balotelli ---- Amauri/ Trezeguet

+
Quaresma/Mancini/Materazzi/Obinna ----Brazzo/Poulsen/Ariaudo/Almiron
---------------------------------

With Cassano they will indeed add a lot. The team lacks creativity and they'll get it with Cassano.
Apart from the full back positions, these two teams are more or less at the same level, with our trio in midfield looking a bit better than theirs.
Both teams have top attacking trio, both teams have great depth.

Hopefully Inter will go for Deco, not Cassano.

I agree but it's not like I said we'd lose Scudetto. I just said Inter would get a lot, lot more with Cassano than Hleb or Deco. He's an incredible player and he would probably do a great job with Eto'o infront of him. But as for the whole team, no, I don't think they are superior than us and I do think we're going to give them hard time in the top 2.

If Inter get Cassano and ours and their team look the way i wrote above, then some details (injuries of instrumental players, stay in the CL, or the coaching) will decide the winner.

Our most instrumental players last year were Chiellini, Sissoko and Del Piero. Manninger proved that he can be a reliable 2nd choice.
With Melo we made sure that a potential absence of Sissoko won't be felt as hard as last year.
Hopefully Cannavaro and Caceres will make a potential absence of Chiellini less painful.

Diego is our guarantee that we can do well even without our best player, Del Piero.

Inter on the other hand will have a tough time replacing Cesar, Maicon and Cassano (if they buy him of course). Even though Toldo, Zanetti and Stankovic are all very good, they won't be able to give even 50% of what Cesar and Maicon give and what Cassano might give.

We can speculate all day on who's better between us and them, but there is one thing that can't be debated and that is their fullbacks >>> ours.
Their RB's, for sure.

As for the LBs, Santon is yet to prove himself. Half season isn't enough.
Chivu isn't suited for an offensive fullback. Even though our LB's are maybe the weakest part of our team, atm the difference between us and Inter there isn't so big.
At least it isn't as big as the difference between Maicon and our RBs.

I think Mourinho will buy another LB this summer.
