As of now the sure fire starter is Nesta and Silva.
That's until Nesta gets another injury. He says that he's back and ready to rock, but with 33 years in his ass and with 2 and a half seasons out of the last 3 seasons missed due to serious chronic back injury, it's a matter of weeks before he gets seriously injured again.

My prediction is a repeat of last summer. Nesta to get injured in the pre-season and miss the entire season. :D

Yeah .. his injuries are brutal. When he is fit he is a sick defender though. Milan gamble every season on his fitness and have been fucked over because of it in the last little while.

At least not for them they have Thiago Silva and Onyewu but neither has played in Serie A so they will take time to adjust. The whole Milan team will take time to adjust this season so I would not be surprised if they are far off the pace by winter break.

But you never know .. they might just click.

I wouldn't mind that.

That way, Gooch can get a lot of time. Whether or not he screws up or not is up to the soccer gods.

Their team will still suck though.

Will he stay with Inter this time? I hear he basically lost a year due to injury and that he will most likely be loaned out again. Has he done anythin good since the seal videos?
I read he'll be loaned out again. I don't know what he's done really other than the seal dribble..

I was surprised to read in Gazzetta that Gaetano D'Agostino is one of the 4 midfielders that Real Madrid are looking at.
According to Gazzetta Xabi Alonso is #1 priority. If that won't go well and Liverpool won't lower their demands, then De Rossi is plan B. Real are apparently ready to pay 30m eur but Roma won't accept anything less than 40m.

If Real fail with De Rossi too, then the plan C are Aquilani and D'Agostino.
