IMO Rooney is far better, and I think that next season he could be better (when it comes to scoring goals). Ronaldo left and I think that Rooney will play as typical striker, not like winger-striker or smth like that. Because of his pace, strenght and work rate Ferguson don't use him just in attack, and that is probably the reason why he don't score so much.

Rooney is a very good player, talented but not as much as people tout him to be especially up there in England. Decent touch, good vision etc. However an interesting point about rooney is that if you take away his work rate then it diminishes a lot of what makes him a very good player.

I am interested to see how will he do if he had to rely solely on his talent to succeed. Also someone mentioned that he will have more responsibility after ronaldo has left, it will be interesting to see how he responds to the pressure given his past bust ups and brain explosions.
