He's scored some vital goals in the past few matches, Stoke, Hull and last week Wolves come to mind, most of them late goals and most of them goals that got us the three points

He has. That pass for the first goal vs. Barca was brilliant. But dammit if I almost would rather have Amauri in there to finish off my shots...

Amauri is ten times the player Bendtner will ever be, but at the moment Bendtner is playing the best football of his career and is scoring some rather vital goals and chipping in with a few assists too, that perfectly weighted pass to Theo for the first and the cool header for Cesc's penalty both contributed alot to our result against Barca in the first leg.

I hope we can swap players, you'd be cursing the day the thought of comparing both players even crossed your mind. I can't think of one aspect in the game that Bendtner is better than or equal to Amauri in.

To true Fred, still people have some sort of vendetta against Amauri on this forum so such posts should not suprise you.

The two players can't really be compared. Amauri is at least twice the player Bendtner is and much smarter and talented than him in every aspect.

His form of late(the whole season actually) kind of makes it hard not to have such reactionary opinions on him

Bendtner is probably better at moving off the ball.

I really doubt it, Bendtner rarely makes a nuisance of himself with his movement. I really think if we had Amauri, with the service he'd be getting from the likes of the Russian primadonna, Fabregas, Nasri and Rosicky, he'd be bagging twice the amount of goals Bendtner scores.

Agreed, I hope Amauri stays this summer because under a good coach and system he should be an excellent player. He has the talent.

For once this season I don't have work during the CL games on Tuesday or Wednesday. I'm super stoked
