I feel sorry for you Alen for wasting your time like that on such embecile and pathetic behaviour.

And Aoron may say its both ways, and Serge who is naturally peeved off from this BS may not name names, but its pretty obvious who initiated and flamed this BS.

Too funny how so little of the game was talked about in last pages, but excellent comeback from Arsenal, who were outplayed possession and chance wise, were too mediocre for first hour of the game, but really came back with a fighting spirit (Walcott as usual showing he really only works as a sub, super sub performance). Would say Barca were too wasteful and how rare its that they choked away a 2-0 result, but Almunia was frigging fantastic (even if the shots were too central). Though I really cant see how Arsenal will fight back in Nou Camp, Messi didnt show up tonight (Vermalen and the midfield did a good number on him), but he will surely do so in 2nd leg.

Yeah Fred keeps apologising to Bendtner for being so harsh on him weekly nowadays, when will he simply admit Niklas is simply NOT the shit player he keeps saying he is? :p Dude has decent qualities, and he has been showing them well enough.

Quite frankly you're scum the way you think is so narrow minded at times. You never wanna accept the truth cos you simply cannot handle it. And this goes to your fanboys on this forum too who havent got an opinion of their own so follow you cos they have no backbone. You do take it overboard with this anti EPL anti England anti everything, its starting to get really boring and its people like you in moods that you're in now that makes this forum a sad place to express a opinion. You made it happen. This used to be a cool place to have decent conversations and i see why alot of old names havent decided to come back. Idiotic remarks time and time again! Honestly before you try coming back with a typical sarcastic andy remark this really doesnt bother me and most times i choose to ignore you. You are a jumped up little maggot who has nothing better to do then spend most of his spare time trying to convince the whole forum how intelligent you really are. And when you read a comment that you disagree with you throw your toys out of your pram and get outraged. You need to grow up and get a real job.

With all due respect to everyone here, it is shit like this that are keeping some of the best posters we've ever had out of this forum, and is a catalyst for others to either not post here as much, or lead to a reduction in new members here.

I really can't believe this is going on.

This hurts.

Some people might look at another forum member here with a sense of anonymity, that all they see are just words and nothing else.

Well, I for one, do not.

If it weren't for a place like this, I would not have had the pleasure of talking to Andy and Burke, whom the know that I love like them like little brothers.

If it weren't for this forum, I would not know nearly as much about not only football, but about other cultures, idealogies, and points of view on a global scale.

I wouldn't have been turned on to half the music I listen to now if it weren't for this.

See, as I'm sure some of you can understand, and would probably freely admit, I feel as if I am a BETTER PERSON for having been a member here for almost 7 years.

And then, stuff like this happens.

Wishing death upon players, wishing for genocide, all because of football.

You have got to be kidding me. We will never have a situation where everyone gets along with everyone else, but there has been a severe lack of civility and human decency going on around here, and not just this thread.

These forums are supposed to be fun, an escape from the everyday chores of life.

This is not fun, and this is not what I signed up for.

I have lost all faith in this forum. Those who have my cell phone number, do me a favor, and call me when things are even remotely human again.
That last message is indicative of how many feel here, and very sad really.

There is an absurd posturing of abuse and obsenity among a few, but prolific members here, which is spreading like a cancer. And like a cancer it is destroying its host.

I wasn't making fun of genocide. And I apologize for my actions if some here think that is the case, especially to the Bosnians and Serbs as I do respect them. They have been through much more than anyone can understand. That was wrong of me to post.

But again, I apologize to the folks that might have been affected by Srebrenica.
I'm sorry but this was just :howler: :howler: . One for the history books.

Wow Wtf happened here today are you guys really incapable of discussing CL football without it leading to genocide and all of the problems with this forum.
I missed both games today and I have been reading these pages trying find info about them not drama. Might I suggest the thread I created for these types of incidents in case you decide to continue with this.

There have been attempts like yours before to create a thread to accommodate those wanting to abuse, but, alas, unsuccessfully due to the fact that those initiating the abuse want the most attention they can get and so go to where the action is.

Good point though.

Because Rab is talking out of his ass and it's not true. The only one CELEBRATING Zlatan's goals was Suns, but Suns didn't bash Andy for supporting Barca.

I, on the other hand, celebrated only Arsenal's goals and I only laughed how Zlatan owned those who only 5 minutes ago called him a choker. That was a hell of an ownage and a hell of a way to shut someone's mouth.
I mean, did you see how pathetic they were? They claimed that Zlatan wanted to cross the ball

The thing is, while I was celebrating Arsenal's goals Andy was crying how it wasn't a penalty. Like a true fan when his team concedes a penalty.
I don't think anybody can be serious about that.

I missed the game, unfortunately. Is Fabregas really suspended for the next leg?
and probably out for the rest of the season with an injury.

Milito's goal was greatness, quick acting, powerful and precise shot, no chance for keeper. I do think though that Inter will have problems at CSKA field, Russians have a great coach, nice crowd and synthetic field, which is pretty different to usual one. 1:0 usually is great result at home, but Mourinho can't feel comfortable with that small lead.

Ya lets respect Barcelona for not being able to hold a "comfortable" 2-0 lead.

Lets respect them for missing chance after chance and marking the name "Barcelona" as an opposite to "efficiency" in the Oxford dictionary

Lets respect Barcelona for not being able to beat an Arsenal squad that had a half fit Gallas and a half fit Fabregas, and both ended up injured in the game.

Lets respect them knowing that they played against an Arsenal team that was plagued by the injuries of Gallas and Arshavin from the first half.

Lets respect Barcelona for only being able to score their goals when we had a DM in CB, mind you both goals were completely Song's fault, he left Ibra run behind him and a player like Ibra will punish you for such amateur defending.

Lets respect them knowing that they got lucky Cesc got injured after their red card and as a consequence we couldn't pressure them in the last 3 minutes, cos we were playing with 10 men.

Lets respect Barcelona for being an example of inefficiency and choker mentality.

Lets respect Barcelona for not being able to beat a team that consisted of pub team players ala Denilson, Bentdner, Diaby and Almunia.

While we're at it, lets also respect them for not being able to handle such mediocre players like Bentdner and Theo who both had the game of their lives today.

I love you Fabregas you fucking warrior, Bentdner and Almunia i'm sorry for being so harsh on you all those times.

Alen, you and Jack were right about Barca fanboys.
Thank you. Hopefully I will not read it from you again that we should respect that team for the eye candy they provide us. It's only sad that you realized that after it happened to the team you support, I realized that after seeing Barcelona win over teams other than Juve. It baffled me and it still baflles me to the reason why it happens, but I learned not to talk about it anymore....unlike Alen.

A let's all thank the great 'fans' at the emirates that had the gaul to boo passing football.Don't take the high ground against Barca if you're an Arsenal fan, both clubs are hideously dilluted by real bona fide fake fans. Fred, Fred isn't one of them but the ammount of fanboys that are both Arsenal and Barcelona fans (fans of both) is ridiculous. /Rant

On the matter of the game, I felt it was like watching two similar teams that were built in different ways. Maybe it is just me but I look at Barca and see what Arsenal could be, but won't be under Wenger. They buy big and yet utilize some fo the finest youth products in history, they pass it around but they still look solid when they lose the ball. I've made my dislike for Arsenal clear in the past and have elaborated such to fans here and in real life. However, I did not see a 'great european performance' last night, admittedly it was a good fightback but the Arsenal players know the game is up, Barca has the beating of them.

I still think they deserve respect for the way they play football, i said you were right about Barca fanboys not about Barcelona.

Barca fanboys claiming Barca deserved respect for yesterday made me realize that indeed some people take it too far when it comes to Barcelona, it wasn't the only factor though, a few weeks ago people were calling Real Madrid chokers and saying that the Liga was a mickey mouse competition because Real is on top yet lauding Barca last season for winning it. All those factors combined together made me realize that indeed there are some people who are biased to Barcelona while not being(at least not in the open) Barca fans.

How Barcelona deserves respect for completely choking despite having 68% of posession and half a dozen clear cut opportunities is beyond me.

For that, i say again, you and Alen were right about the fanboys.

No manager in the world could get a squad like the one Arsenal have right now to play in such an entertaining way. I'd like to see if the roles were reversed and Wenger had Xavi, Messi, Zlatan, Keita, Busquets and Alves while Guardiola had Denilson, Diaby, Song, Cesc and Bentdner.

Vermaelen may have done a good job of covering Messi, but his pushing up to close Messi partially contributed to both Barca's goals.

The primary blame lies with Song for not covering properly, but I would want the senior CB in that circumstance to hold the shape, rather than charging out to close a player down like that.

I think Vermaelen is generally too aggressive in his attempts to step out of position to win possession. He got done by Ibrahimovic when he tried it in the first half too, which resulted in Ibrahimovic having a clear run on goal from the half way line and hitting the side netting.
