Probably. But look at it this way, Sneijder is the only Freekick taker at Inter, at Juve, there's Del Piero taking freekicks, Diego doesn't take much except the long range freekicks and I guess he isn't doing bad at all, he actually has more assists than Sneijder when it comes to Freekicks from long range.

dudez. snieijder is nowhere near diego. he is half the player diego is. sneijder is just in a more balanced team and he has to do certain things. wait until we get a better coach and then diego will show what he deserves. underrating our players is not a good thing...

From one end to the other we go...

There's probably not much between the players, but it's hard to compare them right now as the teams they feature in aren't really in similar situations right now. Let's just focus on Diego.

Chelsea was bad. Their midfield was very weak, Lampard, Ballack and Mikel didn't show anything while Anelka had awful match.

They still played a classy match with brain, unlike Inter. 2-1 is not bad for them at all, they can still go through without many problems.

Great match for Lucio. Oh and it was nice to see some classy moves from Balotelli. Perfect subs from Mourinho but that's nothing new.
They really missed Essien, as always when it comes to Champions League football.

True that.

I don't really see them going through but their midfield link (especially Thiago Motta) can be really weak. Next season when they buy Hamsik or some kick ass midfielder they will easily hit the finals if they stick to Mourinho.
Doesn't his contract expire at the end of this season? If so, I don't think he will stay, but who knows.

Sneijder's speed, passing, shooting, vision >>>>>>>> Diego's
The only thing Diego has on him is dribbling, thats it.
:disagree:

Speed and Shooting maybe so. Passing, dribbling and vision Diego exceeds I'm afraid.

Dude, his teammates open up better. Wait, till Juve get on feet, Diego will have over 90% passing week in week out.

I think the best way to sum it up is that Diego is the better short range player while Sneijder might have the edge in the long range aspects of the game. The latter might hit better shots from distance and make better long passes, but Diego is a more clinical finisher, better at short distance through balls, and certainly the better dribbler. No doubt about that.

If it was up to me though I'd have both players on the team.
