We could possibly draw any one of the 4 Italian teams, as it looks like all four of them will qualify as second place in their group. I prefer playing Italian teams over Spanish teams, as we always seem to do well against the Italians.

lol so it's

man utd
arsenal
chelsea
barcelona
real madrid
seville

LOL

is there even any point in qualifying :sergio:
I dont think those teams are too happy to meet Juve either though. Especially if there are teams like Olympiacos and Unirea to choose from.

* Of course expecting that we actually improve before the knockout tie.

There is a huge possibility for another Italy vs England knockout round :seven:

We stand more chances against Chelsea than we do against Arsenal, Barcelona or even teams like Bordeaux.

Also, we'll do much better against Real Madrid than we'll do against teams that play like Bordeaux did yesterday.

Sevilla is an unknown to me. Not as a team but in terms of playing in CL against stronger non-Spanish teams.

In any case, the most we can do, even in theory, is the 2nd place and we'll surely get a strong team.

Now we can only hope that some of these strong teams won't end up 1st.
Arsenal and Chelsea already won the first place. In the other groups, here's what we can expect:

Group B: Manchester and Wolfsburg have a chance for the 1st place. Wolfsburg will win the group if they beat Manchester in Wolfsburg and CSKA doesn't beat Besiktas in Turkey. In any other case Manchester wins the group.

Group C: Marseille needs a 3:0 win or more against Real in order to win the group. That's impossible so the winner will be one of Real or Milan. If Real beats Marseille in France then the Spanish win the group. They win the group in any case if Milan won't beat Zurich.
If Milan beats Zurich and Real doesn't beat Marseille, then Milan are group winners and we won't be able to get them in the first round of knock-outs, since they're Italian

Group D: Chelsea won the group.

Group E: Fiorentina or Lyon. If Fiorentina doesn't beat Liverpool in Liverpool, then Lyon, who'll surely beat Debrecen in Lyon, will win the group. We can't get Fiorentina if they win the group.

Group F: Barcelona win the group with a win, or even with a draw if Inter beats Rubin. Our only chance Barca not to win the group is Barca to draw and Rubin to win, or Barca to lose and Inter-Rubin not to end with a draw. Tough chances.

Group G: Sevilla need a draw in the last round when they play Rangers (in Seville) and they win the group.

Group H: Arsenal won the group.

So, realistically, we'll get these potential opponents: Chelsea, Arsenal, Sevilla, Barcelona, Manchester, Lyon, Real Madrid.

The best we can hope for is: Chelsea, Arsenal, Sevilla, Wolfsburg (Inter, Fiorentina and Milan to win their groups).
