Liverpool haven't had a full squad available at all this season. It will be interesting to see how we perform when that happens.
You do have a point, but harry has two squads to choose from (28 players)
If he sorts out Centre Back re: injuries or a new addition in january, I can see them easily overhaulling Liverpool

Gomes :D
Corluka--King/Woodgate--Bassong--Bale

Krancjar-Palacios

Jenas-Modric-Lennon
Defoe

Not a bad team at all.

There never really was much of a gravy train. They haven't really paid for much in the way of stars aside from Torres, Keane, and Johnson. Sure it's decent, but nothing like the Manchesters or Chelsea have available or even to some point Spurs who seemed to be able to outbid us from someone every season.(weird)

Let's see if I can explain:

I think Rafa was under the illusion that the Americans would just toss money at the club and he would have free reign. He forgot that the owners want to make a profit and never came up with a plan B.

Once he couldn't purchase his beloved Barry, he had no idea what to do. So he froze Keane out of the squad by not switching his tactics, sold Xabi anyway, and bought a pre-owned Italian to replace him.

So now here we are, wounded by a team wide injury bug. Rafa didn't have the cash he thought he would (which he should have seen coming) and he has no idea what to do. If it were any other manager Rafa would have been out weeks ago. But because Liverpool hold a sentimental feeling toward history and past accomplishments he's been given every available chance to work through this. In a way Rafa's stubbornness has done us in.
Aaron, what you are saying might be true, but the bottom line is that there are about 50 other American Owners that I would rather have owning my team than Tom Hicks and George Gillett

And I'm not about to sit here and defend Roberto Mancini, but didn't he do the EXACT same thing in CL and Serie A that Mourinho has done, and at a much lower salary and transfer budget??

So I'm guessing you want a new manager. Who do you think would be pool's best option and also keeping in mind the January transfer window how do you think Pool can save their season?
Oh yeah, one more thing.

Good Job Inter, in representing Serie A. I hope that Mourinho is worth the expensive headache he's caused.

Fucking Idiots
I'm surprised how much of a coward Mourinho has been exposed as while working for the merda, it was a bad career choice from him IMO

Oh yeah, part of the reason is the owners only caring about profits and having limited availability during transfer time. They're the reason Arsenal was able to come in at the eleventh hour and get Ramsey. I hate our owners. If you don't care about the club and you can't be bothered to either invest your time at various important times of the year or designate someone to do that for you (who has passion for your club and isn't your idiot son) then don't buy the club.

The fault lies in the owners for being the neglectful and Rafa for being stubborn. I think they both should leave.
