I can't believe Juve is going to my door, after some 20 years that I support them! My place is 5 minutes from the Ramat Gan Stadium. Happy days!!!!! The group is not a bad one, could have been worse, Manu gets his usual backing from UEFA. Come'on Juve let's start collecting some trophies this season!

A week or so before the draw i had a feeling that we will get Rubin Kazan in our group, so i did a little research of the team and the city.

As it turned out we didn't get them, but at least i learned something :)

Kazan is actually in Tatarstan and the majority of its citizens are the Muslim Tatars. The town isn't in the north of the country and the weather isn't as cold as it is in Moscow or St. Petersburg, but the late autmns and the winters are still pretty cold. So lets hope Inter plays them in November or December :D

As for their team, they are pretty good and the best team in Russia in the last two seasons. The Russian NT players Semak, Bystrov and Sharonov, the Turkish NT players Gokdeniz Karadeniz and Hasan Kabze, the South African MacBeth Sibaya, the Ecuadorian Noboa, the Spaniard Cesar Navas, one Polish NT player 3 Georgians, and the star of the team is the Argentinian Alejandro Domínguez, Kazan's #10, who was also one of Zenit's star players during Zenit's UEFA Cup win in 2008.
They also have Sergueï Rebrov, no?

Yeah, Cédric Roussel a Belgian player who was supposedly good at the time was transferred to Rubin Kazan. He completely faded away there, some say he suffered from depression

Kazan have made a bid for Anderlecht player Legear; they also made bids for Onyewu, Vargas, Stijnen (Club Brugge).

Maccabi Haifa is far from being racist. Actually it has surprisingly high number of arab supporters, not to mention the number of arab players that are playing in the club. There is one racist club however in Israel that is called Beitar Jerusalem.

I was dissapointed we didn't get Standard de Liege, I would have gone there for sure
I do believe we have a tricky draw, we know Bayern is good but I wouldn't underestimate Bordaux
they are French champions before Lyon!

2 games on Tuesday and Wednesday on each week I think? Probably has something to do with getting more viewers.

Bayern just signed Robben from Real
I predict us to finish 1st with Bayern or Bordeaux to finish 2nd (I`m not sure Bayern are going to qualify...)
as for Maccabi they have no chance they should be happy if they could get 3rd place
I expect us to win our home games and the away game at Ramat Gan and possibly draw the other 2
in other words I predict us to finish with 4 wins and 2 draws => 14 points
