As a left back, Zanetti is fit to dust Maldini's boots, forget the last 5-7 years when he was washed up, lost alot of pace and so he was moved to CB. In the 90's Maldini was considered the best at his position. Zanetti was NEVER the best his postion. Zanetti is better holding midfielder, right back than Maldini, but nobody mentioned him as top in each of these position. I have to admit thoug that it is harder to expose Zanetti because of his never quit attitude, while Maldini lost alot of his pace in the later years. Maldini is more dangerous going forward, and was always involved in Ac milan atck from the left side with his runs. zanetti on the other hand never played a role in Inter's attack.

Finally , Zanetti is an excellent LB, RB, and CM, while Maldini is a GREAT LB.

So Maldini is originally spen all of his prime as a LB, and you are claimin that he his legend, but for soe reason he is not great at LB. What he is great at then? CB in his final years?! To be a legendthat means you did great things in your playing time, and all the great things Madini acieve where at LB

Next season we will be with Del Neri , but I'm really wondering, if Mourinho leaves inter , who is gonna be inter next coach...that is going to show their ambitions over ours.
