either way you put it. a supporter should be called like that if he supports his team (in any scenario). everybody who only cheers for the team when things are going good IS a GLORY HUNTER.
by your theory only the league leader can have "good" fans because every other team does not play well enough to deserve support.
it has totally nothing to do with the league position, because even with ranieri when we were second in the league the people still found things to be unsatisfied with. be it certain players playing, certain players playing not or just the face of a coach that has "no winning mentality".
by that logic inters fans are crap too, because its easy to be confident and support your team when it has already an advantage (on aggregate)...
my opinion is the lack of intelligence is exactly what is causing the insulting and whistling of players and coaches and for me a reason enough to attend live games in a stadium.
i would not go into a mental home or a place when dumb people live, so why would i go into a stadium where people are not only dumb but drunk too ... thats a bad combination.
since football is a majority sport its natural that the most fans are not the brightest... so its clear that it is rare that there are no black sheep that start this whistling shit and this might infect the not that dumb but still simple minded other fans to join the whistling and insulting.
