This might be what happened to Molinaro:
Imagine a guy with very poor English joining here. The guy is a good guy but limited and insecure because he's aware that he's limited. You, of course, start making fun of him in his introduction thread already.
Then we play some spelling game here and we put the guy in the same team with you and Burke of all people. He knows that your spelling is great and he knows that he can't disappoint.
But it's you and Burke, unfortunately for him. Will you completely kill the little confidence he had?
Then he goes to some place where he's well received. Of course he'll do better there.
