I don't want a new manager. In a perfect world Rafa would have an epiphany, change his disposition, tactics, and transfer policy. Then lead Pool to a top for finish this season and the Treb next year and the history books would write about this turn around as the most important season in Liverpool history. But alas the world is not perfect.

Rafa's contract states that we only have to pay his contract out while he is unemployed (if sacked). If he resigns, he's on his own. Regardless of whether we sack him now or in January I fully expect Madrid to have his phone ringing off the hook.

Personally I would sell degen, voronin, and babel. Those three are dead weight on the squad. I'd play a 4-4-2 or a 4-3-3 rather than the 4-2-3-1 that hardly works anymore. I'd also think about selling Mascherano if the price was right. Honestly, I'm just thinking about the players we have currently and not taking into account a particular coach.
Alright, thanks man

That I agree on. It's something the Americans have failed to do. Chelsea, Manchester, Milan, Inter, Madrid, Barca, and Juventus all have more stature in the states than Liverpool.
I think Qatar could step in.

Liverpool just got unlucky with two particularly inept American owners, more interested in fighting each other than caring for their investment.

The fact that one of the owners (Tom Hicks) was hemorraging money with his sports teams didn't help much, either.

Inter

Complete domination. Barca toyed with them the entire match. Makes you wonder how they cruise through serie a with such a pathetic mentality in Europe.

As for Liverpool, I'm curious to see what the financial implications of an early exist mean for them, especially considering their delicate financial situation.

"You'll never walk again"

Great to see an English team eliminated so early.
The English commetator spent the whole Barca v Inter game slagging Serie A and its champions for losing so pathetically.

They didn't bother to mention that all Italian teams will probably progress, while one EPL team is already out.
