Dalla Francia: Juve favorita sul Liverpool per Malouda25/5/2007 - 15:02
(PARIGI/Francia) -

20 million is a little bit too much for Malouda though he is a great player. I would rather spend that money on Ribery if he wants to join us. However I think Malouda likes Juventus unlike Ribery.

Talentwise I'd agree that Ribery is better, but Malouda has been much much better than Ribery this season. He is more consisent, less raw and more experienced.

Gah, the forums ate my post. :(

Basically: Malouda joining would mean someone leaving. I think we all agree that Nedved will stay. Salihamidzic will arrive. Malouda in, Marchionni out would be an upgrade. Malouda in and Camoranesi out would be fine only if a talented playmaker also arrives. I think it's likely that we'll see a 4-2-3-1 type of formation next season if Malouda does arrive.

Sissoko/Zanetti/Mavuba (destructive) and Almirón/Bodmer (creative, box-to-box)
Three of Camoranesi/Malouda/Nedved/Marchionni/Salihamdzic/Iaquinta/Palladino (obviously not all)

Seems pretty strong. Would suit us more than a straight 4-4-2.

robben in form is great but very injury prone IMO.

seems high for Malouda, when robery went for 15 mill (i cant find this completed transfer anywhere though..help??)

20 million could fetch Quaresma, but we would compete with many others. I think the club could get the Malouda deal down to 10 to 15 mill if a player was offered in the deal as well.

if camo stays and malouda does join, i think DD will still maintain the 4-4-2. He'll have the wingers needed for that style. And with many rumours around midfielders right now, it seems he is opting for this.

All we really need now is for Secco and Dd to stop headbutting each other and work to build this team.
