it's gibberish, which is why it doesn't make sense :p

Malouda has been one Chelsea's top 3-4 players for 2 years running, it would be crazy to let him go considering no matter who else they get, that player would be an unknown quantity for the team and the EPL.

Seriously people, we couldn't sign Elia or Bastos, how the hell are we going to sign one of the best left wingers in Europe? Marotta can say we're interested in Dzeko, Aguero, Ribery or even Ronaldo all he wants but it's not going to happen as long as we don't play in the CL and we don't make massive bids, I just can't believe he could've saved the money spent on Martinez, Pepe and Grosso plus the wages of Toni, Amauri and many others, and we could've had 1 top quality player every summer, would've been much better than these band-aid stupid signings and the unbelievably dumb co-ownerships

Soon we'll watch him buying Floro Flores and Borrielo, selling all of Giovinco with co-owns of Pasquato, Marrone and Giandonato, and any goddamn Juve talent that shows promise

It really comes down to the will of the player. Malouda being 31 might be willing to skip a season of CL football if we can offer him that one last contract till retirement. Every player at all levels have different motivations. I think the older guys have seen and experienced more. If we can offer him a fair sum, I don't see why he won't accept. Given the economics involved, I'd say its doable.

I think Malouda is as much pipe dreaming as Aguero was....
