If he can't offer a good season at Chelsea then why would he do that here, with much worse teammates? I don't really want to rely on a 32yo winger next season, or chase for his replacement.
He offered his best season at Chelsea last season and has looked very good in their pre-season and first two EPL matches....He played every single EPL game for them last season. He doesn't look to be losing too much pace either, he's still incredibly fit and has good apce, more than enough for slower Serie A.

I don't get what's wrong with having a short term solution of Malouda's quality. It's better than having Gaiaccherinis of the world as long term solutions. Also let's not forget, this team is fast forgetting what Juventus is all about on the pitch because of the glaring lack of quality. Let's please understand we cannot go three seasons in a row as mid table minnows. And for that to change any lind of quality is welcome, even if it means it'd be useful for a couple of years. We need to start winning again people.

Yep. Having Malouda and Krasic as our wingers this season would be very good, no doubt about it. Surely, Malouda is not a long-term investment, but he can help us in getting immediate results, which is what we need. Malouda and Krasic will be two excellent weapons on the wings in a very poor Serie-A.

Which is why he won't come, I suppose. Nothing seems to "go as it should" with this Juve.

If the club is in a strong position then perhaps it can turn up the chance to get 31 year old short term options, but this Juventus cannot afford that.
If we have no other option for next season, then we cant afford not to, because we need short term success as well, regardless of the age of playr that helps us get it.

Are kidding me here Dusan? You are thinking about 31 ones of age, not absolute clear quality upgrade (he has been great for Chelsea), for a pathetically mediocre team that has ended 7th two seasons in a row? That its excuse of LW choices has been Martinez, Pepe and Marchisio? REALLY now?

Not that we have a shot of getting him, but when will Juve fans be more pragmatic? We need INSTANT results/improvement/sucess, I had the luxury of thinking of age/rejuvenating before, because I assumed we could get good young players. But our track record shows getting good players in any age group is a stretch, so we cant afford passing on proven quality, because of age.

If Sabatini got him in other hand..

Fiesty, hehe, but true...

Seriously, how can we have standards like age, when the "younger" options we put up with are Pepe and Marchisio as LW, and now sign Giaccherini, and what seems to be an unknown/risky Paraguyuan. Malouda would basically mean a huge boost to our CL chances.

yes, Dushane, interdestroyer is right :D

seriously though, what you said is what makes me wonder why Chelski would let Malouda go in the first place. Sure they got Mata but he can be deployed on the right and even then who knows how Mata wouldfit in at Chelsea and the EPL in the first place. What if he turns out to be a bust for them? Selling Malouda - one of their very best players altogether in the past 2 seasons - would be a dangerous piece of business.
