it seems we are willing to pay the transfer fee but when it comes down to the salaries we compete. first it was flamini with milan offering 1 mil more in wages and now it seems that amauri slipping out our hands to Milan. we want diego, VdV, aqualani, x alonso etc we have to give them the wages they want. if we continue like this we wont get anyone else.

i prefer we don't take the likes of flamini and keep our wages lower for some time. Milan made a mistake with flamini there, no matter how well he will perform. Once we're able to sign the likes of VdV, Diego, etc we can talk about 4 or 5 million wages, but not earlier. I prefer we save some cash and splash it on a big one then.
Same goes for amauri, they want to put the pressure on us, but i hope we resist and our board is strong enough to just turn the deal down if they don't get him for 3 (max 3,5) mio. Palermo don't want to sell him to milan, they want our youngsters, so it's not only them dictating the rules.

La Juve will pay a high price for the application of the new law on the rights tv: less 15 million euros of revenues. E 'estimate of the Head of Marketing-white Fassone the conference "Sport on TV", held yesterday at the University of Bologna. La Juve relates to England. Fassone cites data disturbing: "We collect revenues from the stadium for 7% of totale.Nel our peak years of turnover, 2005-2006, we received less than 20 million. Arsenal with the Emirates Stadium earns five times the Juve. We and the owners of us Reggiana: 2011 2012 play in the new Delle Alpi stadium. Abroad people arrive in the first two hours and leaves two hours after the game. They are all in more revenues.

The big Italian clubs struggling to close a tie and very often we do not succeed. So we need to encourage collections: "All'Old Trafford - says still Fassone - only drink and eat the supporters of Manchester United spend 7 pounds per person. In Italy, those of Juve, Milan and Inter do not arrive at 0.80 euros. A change fact means that the ratio is one to ten.

IFIL's Juventus Q4 net loss widens on player write-downs, lower sales

MILAN (Thomson Financial) - IFIL SpA's quoted unit Juventus Football Club SpA said its fourth-quarter net loss widened to 20.3 million euros, from 11.8 million a year earlier, on player write-downs and weaker sales.

Operating loss was 18.4 million euros, against 11.0 million in the fourth quarter to June 30, 2007, while sales fell 7.8 percent to 42.5 million, mainly due to lower TV broadcasting rights, the club said.

"In the quarter, amortisation and write-downs on players was 11.2 million euros, up 6.2 million, mainly due to the 6.8 million write down on remaining rights in footballer (Jorge) Andrade:confused: ," it said.

In July, reports said defender Andrade had suffered a repeat of the knee injury that limited him to four Serie A appearances last season and will see him out of action for a further few months.

In the fourth quarter, Juventus said sales fell to 42.5 million euros, from 46.1 million, with broadcasting rights down to 26.4 million, from 29.0 million.

Looking forward, the club said 2008/2009 results will be influenced by any participation in the UEFA Champions League, which depends on getting through preliminary rounds August 13 and 26.
