Yeah I didn't mind his predictability when it led to goals out of nothing through brute forcing 50 crosses

But he's bang average at everything now. Should've cashed in on him as we have 3 players for that position.

This dude is the perfect example of how piss poor of a “coach” we have. Went on from being an assist master and EL winner to under someone who loves the same system and deploys wingbacks and now he’s having his worst season ever probably. We have someone in charge who only gets the worst out of most players, even when the player is a perfect fit for the “system.”

That EL run was probably his career peak, and maybe that's the best Frankfurt do in Europe for 20 years. He's a good player but I don't think you can expect him to be a key player. If he had more attacking license and we committed more players into the box then yeah he'd have more assists but I only saw him as a squad player.

I really enjoyed watching him in the EL for Frankfurt. Surprised at his apparent lack of grinta for us. He's probably just as jaded as everyone else, or maybe his legs are just not what they were.

Still could be useful because his crosses are deadly if the team can utilize them properly. But he is a winger or wing back with out passing or dribbling ability.

forget about passing. guy can't control the ball. he who cant run with a ball does not qualify as a football player.

he's not quick enough for a typical winger, and as you pointed out, he lacks the dribbling ability too. i think that we never had a more typical wingback though. his first season was pretty good in the same system and with the same coach. age might have hit him hard, or our physical preparation isn't satisfactory

either way he should be sold during the summer, there's no point in keeping him for motta who doesn't even use wingbacks but wingers

Most of Serbian player and pass were not good in first half especially in the first 15 mins.
