Brilliant performance yesterday, he tore inter apart down the left. Really seems to have settled now and he’s clearly a different player during counters as opposed to when the opponents just sit and defend deep.

Great player to have both as a nailed on starter in the 3 at the back formations but also even as potential starter in a functional 4-4-2 or back-up in a 4-3-3 for example, having him around gives us multiple options and you just know he will do his part and deliver cross after cross while also gathering up assists in the process.

It’s just as true tho that he sometimes overdoes it with the extra crosses and goes for it even when perhaps he should rather just pass it simple or first try a 1-2 combination before the cross so he gets in a better position for it but all in all he is very efficient either way and is doing a very solid job overall with his play.
