Oh lord, another feminist saviour. Maybe don't turn an innocent peck born out of a moment of euphoria and happiness into a massive unnecessary drama? Most reasonable people would just laugh it off (which was the case initially), but then there are some like her who crave attention and see an opportunity to become the star of a new MeToo moment, resulting in a nationwide witch hunt against the guy. Was what he did a bit immature and unprofessional? Yes. Does he deserve to lose his whole job over it? Absolutely not.

Its impossible for them to be professional both in basic congratulatory greeting and the aftermath of dealing with your own players.

I think several players sat out the World Cup because of previous issues with the coach and federation, so there’s definitely more than a single incident that led to what’s currently happening

Is this a joke? How can you even defend this? Lol.

No one, under any circumstances, has the right to just grab and kiss someone the way he did. He's lucky he is not facing an assault charge.

TBH, he was taken up in the moment and a handshake seemed lame. Probably the only way the guy knows how to express appreciation among women. But also because he has zero professional experience of how not to do that around your business rather than family and friends.

There are a number of Spaniard dudes who won’t see that as infantilizing partly because few have any real experience with that in a professional context.

dude if he is willing to kiss someone randomly like that in front of cameras broadcasting to millions of people and have other old guys defend him

then imagine what they are doing behind the scenes when no camera is watching them.

there is already scandal going on in french FA regarding sexual assaults of minors. don't be surprised if this is case also in spain, england, italy and other countries.
