so you didn't see any of those great matches. USA played only 3 games, and 1 of them wasn't important. That says nothing about the tournamnet

It does when it's the confederations cup :D

    "The what cup?"
    "The confederations cup."
    "What's that for then?"
    "Fun, mostly."
"Right ... so you need to qualify for it, do you?"
    "Nope."
"Oh ... well who's in it then?"
"The USA, Japan, New-Zealand, Cameroon and Brazil, among others."
    "Right... Any great players?"
"Some, most stay at home though..."
    "Ronaldo? Rivaldo? Roberto Carlos?"
    "None of those."
    "Oh ..."

    Catch my drift? ;)

No, the whole concept of the cup is insulting to the very art of football imo

I don't care about what everybody else thinks of this cup - I don't like it

Again luck was on France side
Henry scored one of the world most crapy goals ever with his knee
On the other hand the black magician Eto'o did humilate desailly more than once puting the ball between his legs trice.(why is desailly still playing is beyond me)
    I want Eto'o here in Juve:greedy:

I guess I'm satisfied with the outcome although I wouldn't mind Cameroon winning. :undecide: I really liked the homage to Foe after the match however. :)

That was a special scene .. I was delighted with the way the French players held the Cameroon players and celebrated side by side, as if both of them actually won the cup .. one of the blessings of football I guess ..
