Egypt beat Italy, Usa beat Egypt, Italy beat USA.

That's why you don't count the result between USA and Italy as the decisive one. You only count the goal difference.
So far Italy has 3:5, USA has 4:6 and Egypt has 4:7.

Usa are the best of the three right now and that's why they qualify.
