I love this game, since I love all FIFAs! I have all since 99! I am playing with............Juventus! And I am leading after 19 games winning 18 and I had one draw against Milan! They are good in this game! I play in Worldclass mode, and I have to say that specially the off the ball thing helped and is really great! You come from the flank, get your striker in the middle in a good position, make the pass and score the goal!

my Team is quiet realistic, since I don't like teams with too many stars!

-------------------Buffon------------------------
Trabelsi---Thuram---Montero---Zambrotta
----Appiah---Tacchinardi---Jankulovski----
------------------Nedved-----------------------
---------Trezeguet---Del Piero---------------

Well, I trained Montero, because his ball-contoll is horrible and also Appiah!

My copy has Sami Al-Jaber :yuck: , the menus are in Arabic :howler: and the intro video shows 2003 CL highlights, and it has about 8 local teams. (Al-Hilal, Al-Nasser, Al-Ittihad....)

All the teams are also updated... Rivaldo is out of Milan...etc.

Believe it or not, but I actually like FIFA04 :undecide:
Me too, it kinda grew on me.

Well here is my story: I started out in Serie B, yes Serie B. I decided to go with Palermo and only bought Pirlo for my first season. I 've recently finished my first season top of serie B and winning the COpa Italia :D

During the summer, i bought Rustu a better keeper than what i had, Cannavaro, Legro, Camo, Guily, Mista, and I sold a number of low-class players as well as my top striker Zauli.

Now my team looks like this:

Rustu
Atzori, Canna, Legro, Camo
Guily, Vasari, Masiello
Pirlo
Mista, Vannuchi

Dont be fooled by all the Vasaris and Masiellos, they score and make some nice passes. The worst player on the pitch most probably is Camo, and thats why i play him as a left-back, trying to make a Zambro out of him ;)

Right now, ive started my second season in Serie (im toping the table tied with Juventus after 5 games ;) ) and im in the UEFA cup and the Coppa again.

Hopefully, I can win all these, make some money, and buy some realy "85+" quality players.

Until then , FORZA PALERMO

By the way, i played Milan this year in Serie a and beat them 3 - 0 (a hatrick by PIRLO! ) Pirlo is my best player, and his skill number is rising as i am training him more and more. In fact, he is right now my top scorer with 7 g oals in the second season.

Okay so I got Fifa 2004 yesterday and well, I am not sure if it's the complete version or just some rip off.

Firstly, it has no introduction like other fifa's, it has no menu music and so on, unless you have to add ur own tracks.

Another thing, the interface/navigation is really horrible. I am not exaggerating. It's really slow and confusing.

What did I think of the game? Well I haven't played or seen a fifa since FIFA 2001 so I was expecting the world of greatness but it was, hmm, alright I guess. The upclose graphics are really decent but I was expecting a little more when it comes to actually playing.

Anyway, enuff about that. I suck at this game. How are you suppose to past the defenders? Tell me how to play this game as the last one I mastered was 2001 and its a big difference in terms of gameplay.

well if u have some wuestions about the game, ask me. but ill answers ur current questions.

First of all.. yeha the game have a intro video with delpiero, ronaldinho and henry doing some tricks...and yes the menus have musik tracks...so i think ull have to do somethin about that game.

OK,, ow about the game itself.

Yeap..-- the menu navigation is horrible.... and a lot of people have gone mad with this.

This game was kind of rushed, i mean...EA did a very weird job with this game because there are LOTS of silly mistakes that looks very amatteur...for example... in the CL mode , there are 3 teams of the same country in one group ALWAYs. Ull find a lot of bugs like that in the game.

About how to dribble past defenders...well... in this game is almost impossible because the dribbling skills of the players are useless..... Its kind of usefull against human players but against the AI its impossible.

U have a button to make ur player "walk" and then u can do some useless triks called "freestyle control" but as i said.. their are useless.

Dont try much hard with the game because it has some programming errors and some things wrong.

Euro 2004 game is slightly better and they hve fixed some errors...but still they need some things to fix.

    Thanks man.

It's really my friends "game". His sister was somewhere in the middle east last month and supposedly bought the Fifa collection from 98 to 2004.

When my friend told me none of them worked, I laughed as hell but I tried it on my pc. 2003 doesn't work as it keeps asking for Fifa Cd 2. I do have two cd's but apparrently it's not recognizing the second one as it should. Fifa 2004 was in a zip file. Had to unzip and then it worked. Well kinda.

I guess my friends sister got ripped off big time, but oh well. :D

Back to 2004. Can't really dribble around AI? So, give me some tips as how to get past them? Anyway at all or are you just supposed to knock the ball through them.

Another thing, is it possible to change the keyboard controls for pc?
How exactly does the off the ball thing work also?

wow she was really ripped off :D

about the game on PC i dont know because i play it in my sister´s gamecube.

about how tro dribble past the AI..a i told u , is impossible because the "geniuses" who did this game...programemd the AI to have something like a "sensitive tackle" and they just tackle u right away if u are in their range...doing always a perfect tackle...and not tricks can work against it. Pretty stupid idea.

U can just past defenders by passing the ball around them...its sad but true.

IN euro 2004 u can dribble past defenders wih tricks thou.

Well like all games I guess Fifa 2004 (atleast the partial, ripped off version:D) has alot of flaws.

Anyway, Euro 2004 is out already? I will give it a shot.

Fifa 2004 is getting more enjoyable as I play. It's not as bad as I first thought. It's really different from 2001 however.

    Thanks for ur help Hydde.

Just confirming, the dribbles are when you hold shift + c and then move the direction keypad right?

Shit, I forget you got it for gamecube, my bad, sorry.

I like FIFA 2004 (at least the first hour), but their WC and EURO releases is always much better, i still think FIFA WC2002 is one of their best games, behind fifa04.
