34 i believe...
But going with what Vlatko said..the croatian league isnt all that strong to begin with..I mean Kezman scored a crazy amount of goals in Holland,(which is probably a stronger league than the croatian) but still he flopped in England and Spain..Alfonso Alves scored 34 in Holland this season..would you be willing to have him at Juve??

Now i'm not judging the player as i obviously havent watched him play...But what i'm saying is that his goalscoring record in Croatia isn't necessarily gonna count for anything in England.
i think if u watch him for croatia u will see his talent i mean he ran riot around england who ive been told by those ignorant pigs that they have the best defence in the world

yes i wud love to have da silva at juve, but we are surplas to requirements for him right now, i too usually wudnt compare a player's goal talent in a weaker league to those at higher, but i defo do like the look of this player, and u know me, i critisise alot of players

we sold zidane, and look what we got in return sometimes u gotta sell to progress, athletico win, torres will be of no great loss to them as it was him that was hindering their progression in challenging for cl football the whole time
Zidane if different with Del Piero!

So in this case what is differences between clubs? Just their players? I don't think so!
Why we love Juventus? Just because of players? I think each club itself has a unique character.

how is it different? they were both iconic to juve as torres is to athletico fans only that torres is not as good as most make him out to be and they got a good bid like juve did for zizou, perhaps u love juve cuz of dp, but i love juve as a family.

trust me no player is indispensible to any club no matter how iconic they are to the club, if the offer is too good to refuse, the clubs will sell.

if u must know some years ago dp was on the verge of joining man utd, only to have failed a medical

that you do..unless they're juve players of course;)
da silva is not juventino so that is special ;)

Sorry! But I disagree with you! If I were roma fan, I would prefer to keep Totti instead of selling him and buy Ronaldinho Instead!

u dont understand, even totti is not untouchable, if the bid is right the club will sell and buy several in replacement, it doesnt matter if they are the captain, gods gift or the clubs best player, every player is not untouchable, that includes totti, perhaps on fm u wud prefer to keep totti, but with that money they can buy several quality players, like juve did with the sale of zizou we bought buffon, thuram, nedved. now dont give me this "oh but zizou is different" rubbish cuz he is juve like every1 else at the club, no 1 player is bigger than the club or is the club, just some are more popular than others, nothing more

I'm not sure liverpool have made a great deal with torres either, in my mind he's not worth that amount. as some of you said, he's not one to get 20+ over a season, and with the way liverpool plays...i'm not sure he'll pass that mark in england.
but nice for the fans, club and sponsors that they were able to attract a big name and being able to pay that kind of money.
as for atlectico, well they are just constantly changing the team too much. not sure they will spend the new money so wisely. seems to me that they each year buy good players, and on paper have a good team, but the consistancy lacks.
but for the amount of torres, if they could get querasma, riquelme, forlan and perhaps pick saviola up on free transfer...then things don't look so bad, even though they had to let go of a local boy and hero

forlan has already been signed, riquelme so i understand is on a free and quaresma is relatively cheap

And if you were an Arsenal fan you'd rather keep Henry than get Eduardo..But the world is a cruel place:D
Ya... Your'e right.

But remember Maradona relation with Boca fans or Napoli's! or Pele with Santos or, Crayuf wit Barca and ....

I admire players like Alex, Totti, Maldini, Zanetti, Raul and .... for me Nedved way of playing and his commitment to Juventus is something that I will remember Nedved with in future. I will remember Buffon with his dedication to stay with Juve in Serie B along with his great performances.

Every club on earth have his idol who is giving to team more character but the thing is that only big clubs with a lot of money can afford to keep thoose players in the club. Eduardo was captain and icon in Dinamo but that doesn't mean Dinamo lost his character. And if you are real club and if you are loyal to your players you will let them leave if they want to (ofcourse fot the good price). You think that Juve couldn't kept Zizou if we wanted, the same thing is with Atletico... Torres had desire to play for a better club and win something in his career and Atletico couldn't kept him against his will especially after all those years he spent at tzhe club and everything he gave to the club.

so u seriously think because a player is the teams icon they shudnt or will ever be sold? oh common wake up i could name u hundreds of players over time that have been the clubs icon that have been sold.

like i said perhaps on fm but real life, the temptation of big money will always be too great

Badass! Why do you always evaluate things with money? You do everything because of money?
unfortunatly todays football is all about money

ask yourself this do u think liverpool wud reject a bid of 40+ mill for gerrard for example?
or the same for ronaldinho? no
now im asking u to be empathetic towards the club board and not what you would do.

football clubs is more about business - getting bargains, selling for profit, or buying for the risk to succeed or to sell in order to cut their losses
