Conte : He’s improving in terms of determination, of protecting the ball and providing assists, so now has to target being a hitman and we must help him achieve that.”
well yeah, hee needs to bang those.

They will need to work with him heavily in the mental side of things when being in front of the goal. If he can improve this, he will be unstoppable.

No you don't actually. If the keeper saves them then it doesn't really matter. He's not useless like Quag or Matri who live and die by their finishing. Llorente can have an excellent game, set up 10 chances yet miss 5 clear chances and still have a positive impact. The situation would have been different if he missed 3 clear chances and offered absolutely nothing to the team the rest of the game like many poachers or mediocre strikers like Quag, Matri and many others in this league.
So you're telling me you wouldn't have blamed and cursed poor Nando, had that second chance he missed resulted in a goal off Bologna's counter. Most people here would've. What do you mean if the keeper saves them? That is unbelievable bias. If Quag or Matri had been at the end of those chances, you would've questioned their professional ability. Like I said, it's not a criticism of Llorente per se, but any player in that position should have a better conversion rate than he did last night, no matter what other facets he has to his game. My personal take on the player is that he is doing a good job for us up front, and I have been one of them who has believed in when most here were writing him off when he wasn't getting a game but his misses woudve cost us a lot more than what he created last night. It's definitely worth noting. He's also had way better overall impact in games other than las night.

Llorente: Juve can do it at Gala!
By Football Italia staff

Fernando Llorente is confident Juventus will get the result they need at Galatasaray to reach the last 16 of the Champions League.

The Old Lady will be in action in Istanbul on Tuesday needing just a draw to qualify for the knock-out stages of the competition.

“It’s true, we didn’t start the Champions League campaign in the best possible way, but we are a strong side,” the Spaniard told Sky Sport Italia.

“We have put ourselves back in the race and we have given ourselves a chance to reach the last 16.

“In order to succeed we need to do as we always play – with great concentration and to control the game.

“By playing without fear and by giving 100 per cent, we will get through the group stages.”

Juventus have won one, drawn three and lost one of their Champions League games in Group B which also contains FC Copenhagen and Real Madrid.
