In the second half his first touch improved and he was able to keep and distribute the ball pretty good.

I'm very happy for him.

El Rey Leon !!

Thought he was little more than okay in general.

Juve need to play more long-ish balls to his chest, because he's too good a controlling them and then bringing those around him into play to only play those balls a couple of time a game. It's just such an easy way to get into the space between an oppositions defence and midfield.

Still, he is now consistently contributing despite being nowhere near his best.

his passing makes sissoko look like pirlo

serisouly he's a horrible passer

Oh, he is. Maybe not for us in our system but he indeed was in Bilbao in that 11/12 season. And his goals this season prove my point.
Nope, completely the opposite, in 11/12 season(Athletic time general). He came back and helped alot in the midfield. He was a deeplying targetman, a guy who controll the ball and pass it wide or made a lay off and ran into the box.

Now he's much more into the box than he used to be. Because he now has world class teammates and he has not found his form yet. Currently he is failling alot of passes and awesome lay offs which you rarely saw in Athletic. He has always been a deeplying targetman.

so you would agree there is much more to come from him ?

Our second goal, the freekick of pirlo, that was so amazing

bonucci long pass, perfectly difficult backheader of llorente to tevez, who gets fouled.
really nice

you can see he is definitely getting close to or is at full fitness now, he ran almost right to our own box 2-3 times, something I've not seen our attackers do often besides Tevez

Ironically.. his passes were kinda off in the first half were he scored... but in the 2md he did eberything well taking in consideration we parked the bus hardcore.

Lets not forget aq nice header he had by the end of the 2nd half who was parried by reina.

Yeah, he really improved in the second half. His chest controls ahead of rushing Napoli defenders were great in the second half, if he can spread the ball as well it's going to be very enjoyable to see him play against teams that employ high pressure on our forwards (like most mid-table Serie A teams).
