Llorente needs proper match practise to find his feet again, training isn't enough. He needs to be used properly, he's slow but so was Trez but when used properly we all know how lethal he was. Llorente can do the same. He'll be a pain in the ass in the box, he'll open up space for his partnering striker since a striker like himself usually keeps 2 players on him especially in the box.

I get the feeling he'll score a lot of tap ins and simple goals which will add up..

Let him play some good games. He is not bad by any means and once he gets out of this slump he will deliver for sure.

Trez was one of the most limited strikers i have ever seen, and that doesnt prevented him to score goals left and right.

Llorente should be left alone for now. All discussion atm is pointless. The guy first has to regain optimum condition and since he barely played last year it will take some time. So patience people.

As for Trezeguet comparison there can't be any. They are very different players.

Remember when there was talk of Juve trying to sign him in January?

The general consensus round here was that it would be pointless because he'd take much of the remainder of the season to regain fitness/sharpness.

Now, I'm not suggesting he be given six months before judgements start to be passed, but to criticise him before the season has even started is hilariously stupid.

It can be comparable because both are targetmen. They are supposed to fulfill the same objective, to score goals.
IM not comparing them in terms of similarities between their playing style... but i wanted to point out that Trez was very limited, but he knew how to fulfill his role wih the tools he had at his disposal, so he is a prime example that as long as u get the job done, its ok.
