That settles it then, if I were still a moderator I would have encouraged it. I would have even added it to the rules that each time Llorente scores all the active members have to mention Lion in this manner

The issue is the inability of this forum to not take such things too far.

In the case of the calling Albertmare a paedo, it happens occasionally and it's generally one person doing it at any given time.

Herd mentality has gone too far with the "@lion" thing and now you end up with a dozen or more people joining in which moves it into the realms of harrassment in my book.

It's the same thing as happened with the 'did not read' stuff with Cronios. Nothing would have happened if it had stayed at a low level, but as usual a heap of hangers-on had to jump in once they saw what other were doing and suddenly you had two pages of gifs after every other Cronios post, so it became a pain in the arse.

If people were more restrained in the way they went about taunting people, they could get away with doing so much more.
