I remembered buying Llorente in Fifa 12 in Career Mode as Juventus manager but he was a big flop :p Sold him after one season and bought Suarez. Anyway I have high hopes with this signing. Too bad he is not coming this January

Hope Llorente comes soon, then we can put Vucinic on the bench more frequently, Vucinic didn't try his best this season. Llorente + Giovinco would be a better upfront.

    what a tool you are

the man is having injury/fitness issues all season, but because giovinco cannot be decisive they pull him of the bench each time

So we have FAILED to get him when we wanted and instead of bringing a high profile target in the summer, we will just settle with him and spend our transfer budget on more subs, yet again...

7mil would be enough and a competent manager would always find more options (player contracts, bonuses etc) signing with a 2 year delay is not an utter failure, as we still going to need him next year, but if we fail in the CL this year, because of a finisher option, like we did in copa last year, chances are that we will lose more than this 7mil investment (that would also help us secure the championship and maximise performance next year)

First of all, there's no way of knowing 7 mill would've been enough. The fact is that Atl. Bilbao doesn't want to let him go before the end of the season.

Second of all: even if we could have gotten him for 7 mill (which we couldn't), do you really think it's justified to pay that amount of money for someone who we'll get for free in 5 months?

I agree, we should totally have spend 36 mil on a player in the final year of his contract and heck in januari when it seems we could really use a striker, we should definatly spend the 36 mil on a player with 6 months running on his contract

what a tool that man marotta !
