yeah

he should have bought rvp, for 30 mil and 17 mil wages
He could never, ever complete this transfer for many many reasons, what he should have done is focus on the players we could afford and he could sign, we had at least 40-50 mil available, as we have commited more on the players we got.
But unfortunately, he can only go as far as bendtner...

The wasting of time, of months and months on players we cannot acquire for any reason, is entirely upon his shoulders, esp after already failing 4 consecutive times, before, on the same matter.

Llorente started in today's game against a 2ªB team.

He did nothing and was replaced by Aduriz in midtime. Fans booed and whistled every time he touched the ball.
Final Result: Athletic 1 (Aduriz) - Eibar 1 -> Athletic out of "La copa"

This guy can't play at any decent level now. I think he won't be lined up for the rest of the season unless Aduriz gets injured

As long as we keep winning in serie a and coppa, and reach our objective in championsleague, while staying within the financial limits the board sets out for us to become self sustainable

i dont give two shits about what we bought as forwards :)

he's an asshole

he has been negotiating for the last two years saying that his first choice was Athletic. Suddenly after the Euro he said he deserved better and that he wanted to leave rejecting a 4,5 milion euros, 5 years contract offer from Athletic. That was one week before "La liga" kicking off. He broke the team. His latest statement: "I'm leaving cause I was booed by the fans during an EL match"... what an asshole!... If true is a fucking butthurted spoiled brat... if not a fucking liar wanting to hurt the club.

He could leave, you say you wanna leave. Ok then; next step is put the money where your mouth is. No one pays your buy-out clause you're expected to stay and act professionally.... He instead, became the laziest player you could ever see in the pitch. Bielsa sent him off a training session cause he wasn't trying hard enough, he scored the lowest in some phisical condition test.... and so on

He has scored 1 goal uin 357 minutes... he's been replaced everty time he has started... depressing. He's VERY FAR FROM TRYING TO GIVE ITS BEST

I don't give a damn if this asshole life is hell or heaven.. He lied to the president, he lied to the fans, he ruined Athletic's proyect and he's lazy as hell. He deserves all the shit he's taken and even more.

I almost forget....

Just a QUESTION:
Could Llorente get something near to 4.5 mil Euros in any club in any corner of the world if he wasn't leaving for free???

Man up and speak your mind you sneaky bastard, don't waste two years and the good sporting project athletic was trying to buy time to leave free !!
He's a liar cunt

That seems like a very one sided point of view, lets compare with my onesided (i'm not bothering beeing objective cause neighter did you)

He wants an improved contract for two years now, beeing an important striker. yet they refused the payrise he earned.
Seriously, what incompetent board takes TWO FUCKING YEARS to improve your best players contract ?
4.5mil and 5 years. should have given that 2 years ago son, not when a bunch of teams was monitoring him

Juve showed interest, he tought, fuck this mediocre shit, i'm leaving.

So he told he left cause booed by the fans. Allright, lets hang every player that tries to make an excuse that he leaves cause he wants to win trophee's.

The buyout clause, seriously ? that works if he has more then a year running on his contract. No team right in their minds will pay a 36mil buyout if he's free the comming summer, that would be completely retarded.
Because of the retard move not to accept a totally fine offer from juve, he's going out on free in june. good luck with that buyout son.

Then the season starts. You expect a demotivated player cause didnt allow to move, that gets booed of the pitch every fucking time he touches the fucking ball, to perform ? Hell i'm amazed he even scored a goal.

bilbao is a bunch of mediocre cunts that dont know how transfers work in football. They refuse to accept that it doesnt work how they'd want. fine we WILL accept your player for free in june.

¿Refused payrise?
Athletic accepted his offer... he DELAYED the SIGNING of the contract not the negotiation. He said several times that he was staying and that he'll signed soon. That shit lasted months...
The problem was when he asked money for his brother and manager. ¿can you imagine? He wanted his manager to ger 4 mil. euros for renewing his contract
that's crazy

It seems to me you can see the difference between a buy-out clause and a price tag. I won't be taking transfer lessons from you, man.
The player IS NOT FOR SALE. You wanna go out you bring the money form your bouy-out clause. Period. That buy out clause is not a price is a deterrent. You should know the different.

Then the season starts. You expect a demotivated player cause didnt allow to move, that gets booed of the pitch every $#@!ing time he touches the $#@!ing ball, to perform ? Hell i'm amazed he even scored a goal.
I expected a profesional player hungry for playing and showing the world how mentally strong he is and how valuable for any team in the world he could be. I get a hybrid between a whiny bitch and a spoiled brat that loses his place in the pitch to a 31 year old striker.

bilbao is a bunch of mediocre $#@!s that dont know how transfers work in football. They refuse to accept that it doesnt work how they'd want. fine we WILL accept your player for free in june.
Athletic has 115 years of history man. In the most ferocius leage there is; where money has ran rampant. lots of "big" teams have come and go... We know our business... belive me... ask the germans.

good luck with the guy.... but I bet you won't be having as much patience as he had with a guy that needs something between 15 and 20 shots to score one goal.... I'm quite happy with Aduriz right now...

and if you think a 4 years 5 milion contract is "free"....

you'll have a hard time finding trying to get rid of him with that wages...

Man i dont give two shits about how you think it should work. The market dictates how it does.

buyout clause. The selling team can hold out to the buyout clause, if they dont want to sell, the buyer can decide if its worth it or not. As long as the contract is longer as a year, this makes sense.

However, it is generally known, that you MUST renew the contract before he is in his last year, because no club will pay the full buyout. No one, unless its a bidding war.

Usually clubs will offer you some kind of fee, and the seller determines wether its good enough or not, but in the end they allways accept something, because its better then losing out on a player for free.

Juve put a good offer, Bilbao refused, telling that they wanted to get the buyout. Wel, the rest is history. The incompetence of the board led to your star leaving for free in june, instead of a year earlyer for a good price

I expected a profesional player hungry for playing and showing the world how mentally strong he is and how valuable for any team in the world he could be. I get a hybrid between a whiny bitch and a spoiled brat that loses his place in the pitch to a 31 year old striker.
He's a human, not a machine. Tell me one player that is constandly whistled and booed of the field by his own fans, in his last year, wanting to leave, that played well. you wont find one.

Athletic has 115 years of history man. In the most ferocius leage there is; where money has ran rampant. lots of "big" teams have come and go... We know our business... belive me... ask the germans.
Exactly, you are stuck in the past

Our coach is competent and knows what he wants. We also know Llorente's main attribute isnt scoring, but with the much better feed he'll be getting here, its not really an issue

The situation for everybody involved would be easy if they just sell him in January...to Juve. :D

    Juve talk to Drogba, Llorente
By Football Italia staff (since they are quoting gazetta, its worth reading)

The Gazzetta dello Sport believe Didier Drogba is Juventus’ identified transfer target for January, with Fernando Llorente set to follow in the summer.

The club have long been linked with a move in the market for a striker and apparently have plumped short term for former Chelsea man Drogba.

The Ivory Coast international is set to leave current Chinese outfit Shanghai Shenhua in January due their reported financial uncertainty.

Otherwise back in training with former club Chelsea until the Africa Cup of Nations in January, it is Juventus who are reportedly taking steps to secure the 34-year-old this winter and are believed already in talks with him.

However, Beppe Marotta’s offer of a one-and-a-half-year contract to take Drogba up to the end of the 2013-14 season has been met with the player’s request of a deal until June 2015. Even so, the striker is said to be ‘considering the offer carefully’.

Meanwhile, the Bianconeri are said to be in more advanced talks with Llorente, the Spain international who will be leaving Athletic Bilbao next summer on a Bosman.

Juve are understood to be close to agreeing a €4m net salary, four year contract with the 27-year-old, for his move next June

Juventus signing Llorente for less then what Bilbao offered him. what a golddigger he is !

    Love him allready :sheik:

Yep the market dictates how it is but Athletic HAS NOt PUT ANY PLAYER IN THE MARKET
Athletic has not put any PRICE for tha player. Athletic didn't want the buy-out clause...Athletic wanted and wants to keep the player until he contract is finished. Period. Athletic has a NOT SELLING policy.

He's a human, not a machine. Tell me one player that is constandly whistled and booed of the field by his own fans, in his last year, wanting to leave, that played well. you wont find one.
You can bet that world class striker would have shut them up with goals

    LOL
    What is then??

Better feeding?? Aduriz is best spanish scorer in la liga with 9 goals. Not bad for a striker playing for a team classified in the bottom of the scorecard in La Liga
Llorente won't get a better feed in Juve.

And BTW every time he has faced competition in the bench he has bluffed... Good move that Drogba signing

I knew he couldn't get more than Athletic offers him.

now Juve is squeezzing him. He cannot play for a team willing to pay 4.5 mil. for him anymore

    He deserves it

I see him warming the bench for Drogba, making less money and out of the spanish national team line-ups...

 You were probably one of many who loves this guy and now look at you, not even a year later your pretty much saying he is average. Aduriz can suck it personally and if he is that good you can guarantee he will jump ship in a year or so because YES bilbao is a classified bottom club. Explain to me how Llorente wont get better balls toward him compared to your team? Im sorry are you barca? real? Dortmund? no your not. Juve have the top 5 best playing central midfielders in the world so excuse me if I dont believe you when you say Juve wont provide better feeds. Everyone goes through bad times unfortunately his was aided by ungrateful fans and an idiotic club who cares more about principle then a humans well being.

Aduriz is not going anywhere :)

of course Athletic is not Barça... Is Juve Barça?? It might be cause world best midfilelders are in Barça...

    c'mon
He being average for the bigger clubs in europe doesn't mean he's not big for Athletic. Man, please rewatch last euro cup and what Llorente did. Del Bosque put Torres, Negredo and Cesc in front of him. And now has put Villa and Soldado... That's the definition of "average" man.

I bet he doesn't improve the numbers he got las season in Athletic in any season with Juve.

I'm willing to watch Llorente against Italian defenses... It's going to be the first time in my life enjoying Italian Leage.

    - - - Updated - - -

    that's very funny
    hahahahaha
    "a human well being"
well I hope you sign him... but bare in mind that wis harder than growing a gremlin... please cheer him up before sleep, don't boo him under no circunstance... even if he goes to Madrid dressing room to have a few laughts with his ex-team mates before a match and published the photos in his facebook, even if he disappears during final games or what ever he might be doing.... most important: you should get rid of any other striker... don't sign Drogba or that will DEEPLY affect his well being... Be very patient with him specially at the beggining of the season.. if you see him snailing in the pitch please cheer him up and keep lining him up or that will affect his well being too...

    good luck

    sign him
    he's a good player

but don't pay him more than 4 mil euros and sign a top level striker (Dzeko, Drogba...). Llorente is a too risky bet.
