Why wouldn't he make more than Pirlo?
Considering both are bosman transfers I found it odd. Pirlo is the best player in his position, the other is a decent attacker from the Spanish league.

Also after Gigi takes a pay-cut, Pirlo would be the highest earner.

5M per year would contradict the work Beppe has done with the wage bill.

Gigi and Pirlo are old veterans who have bought into the system. Llorente has no reason to do the same, especially when you consider he might be able to get a bigger offer from another team. It's the price of the coveted "top striker".

If he comes to Juve he must be prepared as the pressure will be enormous. After so much talk about the missing "top player" in attack all eyes will be on him and that alleged huge wage he'll take won't make his situation any easier.

That move would be very bold from Beppe and if Llorente doesn't deliver... don't want to imagine what will follow.

Fans shouldn't worry about his wages. They should be happy if he joins us. We can't get Cavani, Falcao...and even Lewandowski. We just can't afford these players and I think they'd prefer Spain or England instead of this Serie A so it's either him for cheap/free and good wages or players like Rossi, Denis.....In conclusion, Fernando is more than welcome here. :D

not really excited about his arrival Mark to be honest. Not sure if he will be an upgrade from the current forwards or just another egg in the basket.
