:sergio: Before this winter when he, again, tried to sign Nainggolan and Behrami, after failing to do so last summer, he then signed Padoin. Last summer he tried to get Nainggolan, then Behrami - after failing on both- then signed Vidal.
explain to me how he failed.

if you marotta values nanigoan at 7 million, but his club values him at 14 million, then is marotta not budging considered a failure? because he is nothing more than a mediocre player, and a back up at that.

and genius, how do you know that conte himself did not ask for padion?

True.

The way I see it, we've struggled to come to terms with the current environment these last two summers. We aimed high in trying to get us a quality striker to lead the attack but were ultimately reluctant to do what it takes to sign one.

Still, two weeks to go...
That's what I've been saying from the beginning.

and pirlo was becase he failed to sign aqua.

and vucinic for auero

and giach for giovinco

and barzagli

and bonucci

He failed to sign those players. Is 'fail' too strong a word for you? Then let's say he 'missed-out' on signing those players.

After missing out on Naingg and Behrami, Conte most likely asked for Padoin - in Juve's pre-season tour summer of 2011, Conte requested Padoin to join the squad of Juventus for the summer's tour to train with Juve. Then he went back to his team.

apparently inquiring about a player = must SIGN AT ANY COST or else it's a failure. Apparaently conte has no say in our signings.

Nanningolan and behrami are incredibly average players.

marotta did good by not wasting money on such back up players.

since nanningolan is so good why is he still playing for Caliagri? why is behrami playing for Napoli?

Cagliari wanted way too much for someone of Nainggolan's quality.

Behrami came out and said in the winter market that he wouldn't leave Fiorentina to join their biggest rival.

And besides, they ended up getting Asamoah instead, who is a superior player to either one of them

You know I'd be extremely disappointed if we failed to sign a good Striker this mercato. However I think we will and not Pazzini.

Respectable journalist said on SKY, we're only looking to spend 16-18 million for the new striker.

TVE - Rejected the bid for Juve Llorente: too low. Here is what Athletic Bilbao want.

According to the Spanish broadcaster TVE, the bid for Juventus Fernando Llorente would be too low. The 16 million euros Juventus offered by the leadership would not be enough to carry off the Spanish striker dall'Athletic Bilbao. The Basque club had therefore refused the proposal received from Turin and would have demanded 18 million euros plus 4 bonus to leave as his flagship. The news - picked up by colleagues from Sky Sports - has bounced back from Spain in the evening.
