So we really stand a chance of getting him unless some pedo-dollars club join the race, right?

If we aquire him for those 20m I expect Marotta to bring Armero too. These would make our squad complete I guess.

so do you guys rate him as one of the best strikers around?! cause tbh i got the feelings he will flop here in seria a
I think he's just what we need. Of course Jojo or RVP would be better but marotta dont have it in him to sign those players and Llorente will do good playing with the team we have now.

35 M€ now means we pull out.

On another note, I am really intrigued to have more about the myth of Spanish players in Serie A, does anyone have a list of those and what they did with their respective clubs?

All I remember is Jose Mari (a total flop because he is actually an average player), De La Pena (also an average player) and Mendietta (a total mystery as to why he didn't succeed). These were at the times were a choking nation and no one other than Real won anything significant and Real had many foreign players.

I would say he's among the best strikers in Europe. He'd be a great fit at Juve. I wouldn't pay too much attention to the 'flop' comments, as that's only opinion at the end of the day. Some feel that way because he's untested in Serie A, but he's proven a top striker in international competitions such as the Europa League and with Spain. He'll fit in at Juve. There's no reason to think he'll be anything other than a success.

Spurs and Man City are also heavily following him. Juve have the edge in that he would have a guaranteed starting spot. Negatives would be our coach situation and our no. 9 has been curiously given to Vucinic.
