for God's sake asamoah at leftback is ok as backup but I don't see it coming. if it was then in the Lazio game conte would have played asamoah at leftback than ogbonna which meant taking off 1 centre back instead of asamoah. I don't get where u got this idea from that asamoah is going to be a leftback.

Yeah but conte likes playing Asamoah there..i agree I don't think he is top notch in that position and I still believe it is a weakness, even if he improving in this role. If we can manage to keep pogba, and with Pirlo ready to sign an extension...I don't see a need for this at all. Maybe Marrone can come back for cover but even then, we suddenly have overkill for midfield when Asamoah can always play there if need be...painful situation as peluso would probably play at left back.

We should get him. Extra grinta in CM is good. Really we only have Vidal for that, should have been Radja too.

If we play 433 next season, we have enough DMs - Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba, Marchisio, Asamoah, Padoin - only 1 average player out of the 6 for 3 positions.

If we play 352 next season, we have 2 good wingbacks - Asamoah and Lichsteiner. The subs offer nothing going forward (Padoin, Caceres, Peluso). Without Asamoah and Lichsteiner we play 532.

My point is, either way, Juve need to prioritize in other areas. Wingbacks if we stick with 352 or attacking mids/wingers if we go with 4 at the back.

The rumour over here is that City were/are offering him £140,000 p/w. If that's reality then this thread might as well be closed, but we'll see.

I can see that happen. Other than Javi Garcia they don't really have ANY backup for Toure and Fernandinho in midfield.

Soooo much yes

We should really try this time, it would be a great deal. Much better than paying for Guarin or Radja.

If he chooses Juve then props to him because I see clubs like Man City offer him better wages.
