Which is why, i think we could start by cashing in on Del Piero. He's going to be surplus to our needs and it wouldnt be nice to see him sit on the bench, and finish his career when he can still get some playing time. Id love to see him make the world cup.

Also, lets not forget, our core group of youngsters will also see their values sky rocket, and we could sell them when they become a older. So I can see a balance could be drawn there.
Logically this is the best idea for Juve interms of the DP situation, but his sale might cause a bit of unstable mentality at Juve especially if the Delle Alpi will be filled with banners protesting against the sale. We know there are many in this forum who'd go crazy if we got rid of him. the best situation now is to hope for him to regain his form, as everybody will gain from this.

But again, i think this is a good mixe of old and young guys, I see no problem with short term goals, let it be a cycle not a total regenaration.

I was just watching sport news from turkish chanell Star TV.here is the news:

1-Appiah: it says that Appiah found the offer very interesting from Fenerbahce, but he doesn't want to play in the turkish league, he wants to stay in Italy, but if he is forced to leave, he wants to play in other major leagues (probably England)

2-Pires: he or his manager, met a french manager of Galatsaray, and Pires said he will agree to joing GS if they pay him 2.5mil euros anually and 7.5mil in 3 years.. Gala is paying 6mil for 3 years..and they say he will probably join them wednesday or thursday..

Appiah: Spurs Are Interested
7/18/2005 7:12:00 PM
Shortly after it was confirmed that Fenerbahce had agreed a fee for the Ghanaian, interest from the Premiership has arisen.

"I hear Tottenham are the latest side to be interested in me and playing in London would be great but let’s wait and see” said the Bianconeri midfielder.

Appiah is under no illusions that the arrival of Patrick Vieira has made him expendable. "[Patrick] Vieira is a good buy for Juve and I would have loved to play alongside him, but I have to think about my own career”, he admitted.

He went on to praise the league that could well hold the key to his future. "The Premiership is the league to be in right now and I think it will be good for my career."

“I’m in the best shape of my career and I want to win more trophies…I want to play week in week out and be in top shape if we qualify for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.”

What a shame, he really deserved to stay IMO.
But now he can finally prove to everyone what great player he really is.

It's a shame that we let Appiah go. He deserved more IMO.
And if he is given his attacking freedom, I think he would probably do well in Fenerbache.

Appiah had never settled in. He has talent, but he was not able to impress at Juve. Good luck him in Turkey.

8m euro - well done, Moggi :greedy:
