Melo is one badass player. Even more than Sissoko.
Eh, Sissoko is a trained killing black ninja. I have yet to see a flying tackle by Melo with a Sissokoesque crunch.

imagine him alongside momo...amazing :D
Absolutely, even if Marchsio is playing next to them both then that is going to be one TOUGH midfield NUT to crack.

imagine him and Sissoko and Camo as the trio in midfield......

......that's three red cards in one match right there.
I forget to add Zebina and Chiellini.

Make it five red cards in one match
I was gonna say, don't forget those two. Glad you got them before I did, I would hate to prove you wrong:D

As I said a while ago, Melo can pass the ball well. And I do think he'll turn out to be a better investment than the Udinese one-season guy. Melo just has too much power and drive to say no to.
I mean, the guy is a beast on the ball. Honestly, how many people does it take to out muscle him off the ball. He is as strong as an OX. It was funny seeing him sprawled out during half intervals. He was spent but still kept on trucking.

Melo and Sissoko need to do some duck hunting. or in this case duck breaking.
You are on fire.

Moggi: 'Melo was overpriced!' Sunday 2 August, 2009

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Former Juventus director general Luciano Moggi casts his eye over the new season, including why his old club paid “double” what Felipe Melo is worth.

The man at the centre of the Calciopoli scandal continues to watch the Serie A scene and now acts as a pundit.

He was not impressed at the Bianconeri’s purchase of Felipe Melo for £21.5m, including Marco Marchionni, from Fiorentina.

“That is far too much and I would never have spent that. In fact, I would not have paid more than half that sum,” snapped Moggi.

“He is a good player. A bit slow, he can make a good partnership with [Momo] Sissoko, but not at those figures.”

The disgraced transfer guru also commented on the overall shape of Serie A this season and Milan’s evident problems.

“I don’t think Milan will remain with this squad, but in any case they are a step behind Inter and Juve.

“Then I see Roma and Fiorentina, followed by Genoa and Napoli. Palermo can also have a very good campaign.
sorry guys, I agree with Moggi

we paid a lot of money for a guy who has the skills of a DM, but pushes forward like an attacking middie, and leaves us vulnerable to the fast break. D'Ago was the better choice when you are spending this kind of money

I can't even agree with you here, Vinni.

DAWGOstino only has one proven season, while Melo has at least two, probably three, in two different top leagues.

I agree with that just because I think that Melo is a more football player than DAGO but this does not say that DAGO does not have his impact on the team.

He might be. Certainly has the talent.

Vieira was OK but nothing overly special. Bad showing for a mercenary.
For us, yes...that can be said of Viera. But not of the Viera of Arsenal. He was imperious and during his Gunners tenure, he was not just one of the strongest central midfielders in england, he was one of the best in the world. A true joy to see play...

Well yeah, he is their main guy in midfield after all. :D

I meant with us when I wrote my post.

Wasn't a big fan of him in Arsenal but respected him.

Now I hate him.

Melo is about 3 times the player D'Ago is. I guarantee that he will be also 3 times better for Juve than what Vieira was.
Well that should not be hard cuz Vieira did hardly anything for Juve. Now if he can give us more then Emerson did .. that would be huge.

Melo is fitting in great nad seems to be a natural winner. I cant wait for the start of the season and to see him and momo. Camo is looking great at the moment and so is Tiago. I hope they can all stay fit.

MArchisio will find his form soon too
