Felipe Melo has apologised to the Juventus fans after his angry reaction to their protests. “It was my mistake.”

The Brazilian was, along with teammate Jonathan Zebina, the most insulted from a section of the supporters and he reacted with a rude gesture after their 4-1 Europa League defeat at Fulham.

This afternoon he came off the bench to score the winner over Atalanta and took this opportunity to make peace.

“It was my first goal in Turin and a very important one, after everything that happened,” he told Juve Channel.

“A real champion knows when he has made a mistake. It was my mistake and I turned on the crowd, but it was a horrible moment for the team and we needed our fans. They weren't by our side.

“I made a mistake and have to work much harder. The goal is for the fans, as I had to do it for them.

“I also dedicate the goal to God and my family, as my daughter was here for the first time today seeing her Daddy in the stadium.

“When I go home sad at the way the season is going, they're sad with me, so it's only right I dedicate it to them.”

Juventus are now joint fifth with Napoli and Sampdoria, but still three points adrift of Palermo's Champions League spot.

“Now we need to give a sense of consistency to our campaign and it'll be tough at Udinese on Saturday.”

The problem is we have too many "box to box" midfielders in the team so we always need to bench one/two of them or at least play out of position (today it was Marchisio). We should get rid of at least 1 of Sissoko/Melo/Marchisio in the summer imo and strengthen other areas with the money..
Marchisio will always spend time injured because he's quite brittle so I would be against selling one of those 3 guys.

He has had good games in the past, only to return to his former ways a week or two later. I'll refrain myself from getting excited for now.

It also should be noted that he, once again, clumsily gave the ball away a couple of times early on. He is still a liability if you ask me.

I think that everone suffers from the lack of leadership and someone to belive in. Thats why we dont just need a good coach but a big name that our players can rally behind and believe he knows more than they do therefore respecting what they say.

He didn't kill, injure or elbow anyone and showed determination. He wasn't flawless, but if you compare him to the Melo we've seen many times before this season, he was alright.

He still needs to improve his game though, but in our current team that's not really the easiest thing to do.

Zacc is a moron who's trying to look like the commander of the team, yet in fact he's just another moron who got the nod from an even bigger moron.
