I don't believe it. Another mid?
He plays a LM in a 4-4-2 he does a lot of defensive work ,track back etc.

Wing-Back option perhaps ?He's a bit similar to Adriano.

Arango is NOT similar to Adriano. Older attacking mid/playmaker who is bit slower, not a quick and attacking wingback exactly.

From what I saw of Mallorca, Arango was the guy they passed to when they wanted to see something created. Great at set pieces. Bild pretty much confirms it is bullshit though.

Palermo getting a taste of what Juventus get against richer teams. They could sign him with no interest from Juve. Probably €4m, €1m salary. Juve come in and all of a sudden the player and club want more.

Watched him for the first time last night (really watched, I'd obviously seen him before).

The main thing that stood out was that the argument that this guy could be preferred to other options due to him being able to cover at LCB looks like a very weak one.

He looked distinctly uncomfortable defensively and made some really poor decisions.

That's not to say Juve shouldn't sign him or that he isn't an okay LB/LWB.

I just wouldn't let him anywhere near CB.

I was the same, first time I was really concentrating on him. I remember him from the last game of the previous season and remembered his crossing being dreadful.

Last night I was really unimpressed by his defending, he failed to stop a single cross getting into the box and looked shaky on defending set pieces. I'm not convinced that he has the attacking skills to make up for being weak defensively.

Maybe it was a one off but was not overly impressed.

But if Conte and Marotta decide on him then we should trust them.

So Napoli is the 'competition' for this player? Fuck, Beppe has had fucking YEARS to find a proper LB, and he comes up with Peluso? :D

If money is tight, form a platoon for that LWB role with the existing options, and spend every fucking last cent appropriated for this summer's budget on a top shelf attacker. If January rolls around and we're too thin, Peluso may still be available - and he'll be eligible.

I've been crying for a LB for 5 years now, but we don't need to buy another player just to make up numbers. Enough of that already, we can cover that type of reinforcement with the guys we have.

Exactly. No need to pad the squad with more mediocrity, just for the sake of it. I know the market for fullbacks in thin, but even so, resorting to a Peluso is appalling.
