Watched him for the first time last night (really watched, I'd obviously seen him before).
The main thing that stood out was that the argument that this guy could be preferred to other options due to him being able to cover at LCB looks like a very weak one.
He looked distinctly uncomfortable defensively and made some really poor decisions.
That's not to say Juve shouldn't sign him or that he isn't an okay LB/LWB.
I just wouldn't let him anywhere near CB.

I was the same, first time I was really concentrating on him. I remember him from the last game of the previous season and remembered his crossing being dreadful.
Last night I was really unimpressed by his defending, he failed to stop a single cross getting into the box and looked shaky on defending set pieces. I'm not convinced that he has the attacking skills to make up for being weak defensively.

So Napoli is the 'competition' for this player? Fuck, Beppe has had fucking YEARS to find a proper LB, and he comes up with Peluso?
If money is tight, form a platoon for that LWB role with the existing options, and spend every fucking last cent appropriated for this summer's budget on a top shelf attacker. If January rolls around and we're too thin, Peluso may still be available - and he'll be eligible.
