We got their first choice RWB, but I don't see you mentioning that anywhere.
Irrelevant. We needed to strengthen LB/LWB far more than RB/RWB where we had Lichsteiner and Caceres, prior to the acquisition of Isla. Isla is an awesome buy, but hardly a necessity. A solid/dependable/reliable quality LB/LWB is still needed as DC is unpredictable (with both injuries and reliability issues at times), and Asamoah is more of a CM (and would be wasted @ LWB, even though he has done well there in a couple of pre-season games).

WE would have to assume that Asamoah or De Ceglie is good enough for now.
LB/LWB and CF are our glaring weaknesses, and as of yet (6 days to go in the Mercato), both haven't been addressed.

said this a while ago, we should promote Kojo as LWB, he's gonna kick ass there.

provides defensive cover as well to allow Marchi and Vidal to really push forward and get into the box.

We have a lot of versatile players so it should be enough. Asamoah can play CM and LWB, Isla can play CM and RWB. We can put Giaccherini an Pepe on flanks too. Don't forget we have Lichtsteiner, Padoin and Caceres too. That's more than enough, plus I prefer to watch Asamoah as LWB (he's great there imo) rather than some Peluso guy. With this roster we can easily offload Ziegler too.

Now Marotta go and get us Dzeko and we're ready :theflag:

jovetic is a necessity considering our forward lineup which is still very average bad on european level.... and no before anyone said he isn't a CF we should remember the club all time top scorer isn't a CF either... counter checkmate :D
Yep, let's buy a SS and hope he'll turn into another Del Piero for us. Sounds like a plan.

Isla was a necessity IMO. We play a 3-5-2 and he's amazing on the right wing. And in case we enter a crisis of injuries for our midfielders, Isla can always swap in.

He could be the best buy of the summer IMO.
