Sounds like you jinxed him without telling us and it makes sense now with all the injuries, poor performances, and having to sell for peanuts. He's going to win EPL and CL with Liverpool now.
He was already injured before I bought his shirt. Knew I should have bought an Allegri shirt.

It all makes sense now. Ffs Chiesa falling off a cliff like that as if someone put a spell on him. Little did we know...
Yes, your God Allegri had nothing to do with it.

This is what happens what you upset someone like me who spent 90+ euros on a Juve shirt at the Juve store 2 years ago with Chiesa on the back because I thought he would outstay Vlahovic (who was my alternative option).
We have our own version of Drake wearing team’s jerseys only for them to lose :touched:

no, he actually is a pick!
truth is he is not reliable anymore, we ve seen it.
he had the potential to reach the stars, we gave him all the support and opportunities he needed and as he has experienced first hand. when a player performs, Juve gifts him a new improved contract even if he still has many years with his current contract.
But if he doesn't, not by choice, but by physical condition, Juve can't have a clause to protect herself.
We were far to open to such an abuse by far too many players.
We were paying a budget for a mid table team only on injury prone and departing players who had little to no contribution.
We were struggling for a new start, we could rely on him, everybody love him.
The unfair situation of free players like Rabbiot gaining more salary is a thing of the past.
Chiesa knew all that, but cared little, kept delaying the contract extension till he gain an upper hand to gain more than he deserved.
So we had to show everyone that things have changed now!

Selling him for peanuts to Liverpool and acting as this was the best course of action is quite a funny coping mechanism that is in full flow here, most went from Chiesa is untouchable and was still our best player during last seasons even when not in great form to being ok with his sell due to his absurd wage demands but expecting nothing less than €30M even on an expiring contract, fast forward and now everyone is fine with selling him for €13M and are just happy we replaced him with for example Nico Gonzalez whom if you asked anyone a few months ago who is better literally most would have told they either never watched him or that he isn’t even half the player that Chiesa is, but now he is considered better and worth the close to €40M fee, despite probably being as injury prone as Chiesa too.

Just a bit of a reality check, and i actually do rate Nico Gonzalez and think he can do well here and have an important impact despite him being prone to missing more than a few games each season due to injuries, only that i still consider the way we handled the Chiesa situation as being grossly miscalculated.

Now with all that being said i sure hope he flops massively at Liverpool. :D

We can all wish to sell a player for 100s of millions but in the end, the value is determined at the market. There was no market for Chiesa due to his expiring contract and uncertainty over his recovery and fitness issues. It is not the case as if we had received higher offers, but had decided to accept the lowest one because fuck all. So what were our options? To have Chiesa for 1 more season and lose him for free next summer? Why didnt he sign renewal last season? I have no idea how Nico will turn out but Fiorentina werent pressured to sell him so it is different situation entirely.

Obviously keeping him for another season and losing him for free wasn’t something to really consider, but losing what was perceived as your best and most marketable player, fan favorite also, for just €13M bargain makes you wonder if it wasn’t maybe smarter to just make him a offer where we added a couple of mils on top of his existing wages and then try to sell him for real market value in the winter or next summer…

Basically all i am saying is that this could and should have been handled better, even from a financial pov, not only sporting side.

I thought next year might finally be the year we would see more consistent Chiesa. I had hoped he would have stayed, that is until the end of July. However, there is little evidence for his form improving as he has been inconsistent for the past 2 years, often his recovery interrupted with little injuries. Lets say he signed for 7m per year and we completely scrap our wage structure we seem to have established. We take a gamble but odds arent in our favor considering the last 2 years and the chances are you will end up with a player on high salary that will be even more difficult to sell. I dont understand why he wasnt renewed during the last season for the similar wage? Did he refuse or we never offered?

I get the logic and reasoning behind it, and as i mentioned in previous posts i think moving him on would have been the smarter thing to do at this stage, but not for such a low fee when we then go on and potentially pay triple that fee on other wingers that are just as much of a gamble but on slightly lower wages, making them even more expensive then it would have been to slightly increase Chiesa’s current wage if you think about it…

And also about keeping the wage structure in check we seemed to not have been against proposing to Rabiot absurd wages again which he luckily stalled and got us to pull out eventually… whereas Chiesa supposedly did not get a renewal offer at all since last year when he is rumored to have turned it down, meaning something was completely broken behind the scenes.

Regarding him not having a market i think it’s false tbh, plenty of teams willing to pay more than what Liverpool did but the player also had his say and preferred destinations, which were very picky choices and when you force him out the way we did it’s only normal we’ll get lowballed by any serious teams that could sense our desperation.

Outstanding lol love the voice over and the real life names of some of the cast are hilarious
Hahah, the names is funny because besides the Campbell dude, everyone else are artist names not real names. Sortiment of famous Reggae/Dancehall of 90s/2000s artists, or hiphop artist in Wyclef Jeans case (member of fugees).

Spragga Benz dancehall. Kymani Marley is reggae artist, Bob Marley son.

This was sort of a passion project for them lol
