It seems he's super delighted to be at Pool.

But I see it more as a huge relief more than anything. Up until a month ago, he was getting offers from Roma and Turkey.

To upgrade to Pool given the situation he was in must have felt massive

Is he the first player we ever sold to pool @Alen
Poulsen.
In the end I think the situation is pretty clear. Several sources claim we did offer him a renewal as early as October 2023 (Agresti). Per our new salary policy though with the cap being set at 5mln, we probably offered him something around 4mln looking at the contribution he provided last couple of years. He wanted much more, got 7mln from Liverpool for four years and that's it, end of the story.

He got what we wanted : EPL, play in Champions League, Salary €7m including bonus
Now it will be up to him to prove if he can be Salah successor. Salah's contract will be expired in a year.

I read some of fans comment that Juve did bad to him and forced him out of loved club after his Instagram farewell. Chiesa / his PR want to clarify things and clear his name by saying he didnt get the offer. But the offer he meant could be after he returned from Euro 2024 for preseason. During last season he already received our extension offer and he/his agent want higher salary and believe Euro 2024 can increase his value. But their plan was failed as his Euro 2024 not so impressive. Hi reported salary in Liverpool and before Barca (around €7m net with bonus) proved he expect a raise.

Meanwhile Juve already made a plan and decided that he is out of the project. It is required that his departure can free wages bill and balance for transfer in. We probably only can afford Koop transfee fee and wages if we sell Chiesa. We focus on other winger then. We gives Chiesa clarity and focus on transfer in put and not offering him new contract. He also can focus to find new club that can satisfy him. It also possible Roma asked him first and if he is sold for reported €25-30m, we dont need to sell Soule. Soule is become Conceicao now. Juve are decisive and we all can see how the transfer market shaping for us now. Its better than we didn't change the plan just to acommodate Chiesa back and then we must sacrifice not signing Nico or Koop.

We shouldnt see Chiesa as a victim here. Club has a goal and player also have expectation. We are clear with Chiesa and in the end Juve can fulfill our recruitment plan although we also sacrifice transfer value we received from Chiesa (€15m instead of €25-30m). Chiesa also got what he wanted : increased salary, new experiences, EPL, club in Champions League. This should be a happy result for both.

Wish him all the best, love him or hate him, he will always be seen as an ex Juve player, and even more so as he's italian. For that, I hope he lights EPL on fire.

New coach at Pool also means that he’ll get a fair chance to break into the starting eleven.

Good luck to him, but he's not shifting Salah, Diaz, or Gakpo. Jota will come on before Chiesa. Also, when did he last play 90 minutes because Liverpool always play in top gear. Here he had a major role to play and was our best winger. Good luck to him but he'll be picked up by Inter next summer, he has no business in Liverpool.

I hope Arthur briefed Chiesa of the reserve players he played with
Man, you're brutal!

Certainly hope not because isn't he a Juve fan?

This is what happens what you upset someone like me who spent 90+ euros on a Juve shirt at the Juve store 2 years ago with Chiesa on the back because I thought he would outstay Vlahovic (who was my alternative option).
Sounds like you jinxed him without telling us and it makes sense now with all the injuries, poor performances, and having to sell for peanuts. He's going to win EPL and CL with Liverpool now.
