I can see it now:

Chiesa - "I want to stay at Juve and bring the club back to where it belongs"

Juventus - "Motta doesnt rate you and we dont want to extend you. Find another club"

Chiesa - "I want to stay at Juventus and try to prove myself to Motta."

Juventus - "Nothing has changed. We dont want you. Find a new club or spend the year in the stands."

Chiesa - "Ok, but I want to play for a club in the Champions League. If I don't find a club I want to join, I'll play out my contract and convince you to keep me or I'll leave for free after the season"

(Juventus leaks to media he'll sign with Inter on a free transfer)

Juventus fans that are brainless sheep - "WHAT A TRAITOR WITH NO LOYALTY TO JUVENTUS!!!"

For sure. They actually should have just shot and killed him for not automatically signing with the club on the terms they wanted.

It's gross and disgusting, and a killable offense.
anyone can ask for a raise but the main question is how one handles the request being rejected ?
the club payed millions for his services, then kept paying him while underperforming for a couple of years and now - after he dragged this renewal for
way too long, without any "proof" or sign he deserves a raise he is actively trying to harm the club by not leaving nor signing a new contract.

ungrateful peace of shit !

Is that your assumption, or you have any evidence for this?
