I don't understand the rush to get anything done. Just let the process play out.

Chiesa wants to stay (and has the power to do so), and Juve don't seem committed to him. Give him the first few months of the season to prove his value to the club under a new coach. If he performs well, start up talks about about a new contract.

if he doesn't convince, try to sell him in the winter or just let him leave for free after the year.

It's not like he's a big money ticket they'd be letting leave for nothing. The rumored asking price right now is €15 million.

This entire saga just seems ridiculous from all parties ---- the club, Chiesa and his team, and the fans.

Ok lets make some things clear... Chiesa does want to stay, but he wants to stay earning more money (up until now)

So, lets say that we give him the first few months to prove his value... even if he delivers and prove he can play at his best, we will not give him the money he wants so, we will not renew him... and we will have no chance to sell him in winter, cause been on his last year of contract, he can sign for any club in january and leave in next june. Also no sane club if make an offer for a player that they can get for free 6 months later.

Oh and letting him go for free it will never be a good option.

i know juve are kind of scummy, but any corporation knows it's was less expensive to keep current good employees than it is to find new suitable replacements.

if he stays and is scoring 20+ G and A then thats the salary of 8-9m he is asking for is worth it over any replacement coming for 40m+ transfer fee and high wages

i think juve just doesn't want to take that risk that he might not be able to hit that kind of form and will leave on free.

koopmeiners stats in serie a plus copppa last season is 20 goals and assists combined and he is rated at 55m+

it would be way easier to keep chiesa than sign a new player that might flop.

Yes I do agree that attacking plaers earn more than mids and defenders but you are missig the point... Juventus will not pay more than 6M to any player at the moment, we like it or not, thats our reality.

Another thing you have to consider is the message we would be giving to other players if we just accept Chiesa, we made a stand, and in my opinion a good stand, and now we cant take that back, that will give the players the wrong message, hell even Chiesa's father now its trying to solve the mess that Chiesa and his agent made, that should tell you that Chiesa has been a jerk and that we cant just accept him to stay without an extension deal signed.

if you think everything is to blame on chiesa and vlahovic go watch the shit football played in last 3 seasons. you will not last watching an entire match in any of them.

The club first offer was for the same money he is earning, he went on jerk mode and said “No, I will wait after the Euro and find me a club that will pay me what I want”

THEN the club made him an offer lower basically because he was been a jerk.

Even if Allegri “damage” him, Chiesa hasn’t done anything to demand 9M he should have seen that and accept the first offer the club made, but he didn’t do that, he was full of himself and thought that he will get a lot of offers and the fact that no team wants to pay him that just proves that he does not deserves 9M and that he was/is a jerk.

A downgrade in what? Chiesa has had how many good seasons at Juve? Let's not blame everything but Chiesa. What he should do is put his head down, take the bridge deal and show the f*ck what he's worth. Allegri's gone and we'll have a proper midfield when Koop comes in, no one else to blame.
