So Chiesa is on €5M net currently which is €9.25M gross

He's definitely asking €9M net. No way he goes to Turkey if they're not offering him an insane salary.

But what a fall from grace for Chiesa. Might as well extend and relaunch his career again instead of pissing your career away for little bit more money.
Szczesny earns disgusting money compared to his ability or value. What a clown deal by Tici the bozo.
4 to 4.5 million would have been alright for a one year renewal with a possibility of a raise next season if he does well.

It's Ramadani not Chiesa tbh, but he should have some control over his agent
Probably wants to make him leave on a free so he can pocket a larger commission .

Assuming those are Chiesa’s demands to play in Turkey. its disappointing he would even entertain that.

I still believe he won’t find another club and will sign a 1-year extension here at his current salary. It would solve both parties’ issues for this year.

And yeah, it pretty much confirms that this whole saga was a contractual dispute and nothing to do with Motta 'not fitting him in his plans'.

Another Dybala-esque saga but remains to be seen if Chiesa can find a decent club in the next few weeks.

At least when Dybala left, he left as a multi-year league winning Champion and one of the best goalscorers that JJ had in the 21st century.

This guy on other hand really hasn't done anything of note apart from a decent first season under Pirlo. Spent the next 1.5 years with an injury, played like crap last season but now wants a payrise? Great way to repay the club who stuck with you despite injuries and poor performances.

If this guy was French or named Rabiot, this thread would be full of insults but nah, that Italian passport defies all logic!

Big difference is that - Dybala couldn't accept that's he is WC player with injuries problems, while Chiesa can't accept his not a WC player with injury problems.

dybala has a lot of injuries but he’s never had anything as serious as Chiesa did. Pre injury Chiesa was world class imo. But his game relied a lot on his athleticism, a lot more than Dybala’s. Probably why he isn’t the same player while Dybala is still pretty good when he’s actually on the field.

Yeah I just mean that both couldn't accept their downsides, Dybala that he wasn't available enough, even though with his performances he was 9 or 10m net player (which is world class for me) and Chiesa that he is neither good enough and available enough to demand WC player salary.

How do guys don’t see that he’s intent on leaving on boseman?
This is the only explanation tbh, fuck him then

yeah, that’s why it’s important they hold firm and keep him out of the squad. They lose all leverage the second they let him back. As long as they hold firm, he’s got no realistic options other than to renew or go somewhere else.

If so many “great Italian talents” end up wanting to play in Turkey, I would say we shouldn’t be signing any Italian players at all. They seem like big fucking losers to me. A bunch of one dimensional pussies compared to even a decade ago. Well, either pussies or degenerate Neanderthals who have betting addictions.

Just imagine if his name was Fred Chisholm and from Texas. People here would want him killed.
