Yeah, he’s history. How far has he fallen, Motta doesn’t rate him, Juve don’t want to renew and no decent club is even remotely interested.

Disappointing end for a player who could be useful for us this season. The names of replacements seem like a downgrade too.

But if we can't / don't want to renew our only option is to sell this summer. Particularly if Inter are lurking next summer.

Meh, I think his arrogance towards the coach, other players and probably management with his demand for a pay raise are more then likely the reason we're reluctant to talk any further. I doubt Thiago Motta would throw away the chance to keep him otherwise.

If he would listen his father and not his agent, he would have a good career here, but now he just fucked everything up. I will never understand how are you not happy with so many millions.

#Chiesa has been excluded for the second friendly game that #Juventus will play tonight in Pescara against #Brest. It's a simple technical choice by #ThiagoMotta, who doesn't see the player born 1997 as part of the future. The objective now for #Giuntoli is to find a solution to avoid losing him for free. It's hard to imagine that he will renew, that's why a sale seems like the only path forward. [Gazzetta dello Sport via @AroundJuventus]

The whole thing is escalating too quickly for me tbh. There must be something abnormal or unpleasant happening behind the scenes or you can't explain Motta not calling him up for a friendly.

Nobody knows the detail rn, but I think it's because of one of the seven deadly sins -- pride.

Chiesa also might communicate something that he won't extend. Guintoli already offered for 1 year extension with current salary and expect him to gain his best this season. But it might his agent Ramadani pushing to have salary increase or he wont extend.

Its strange that nobody want him with only 25-30m while other expiring or older player can get interest. This could actually because Chiesa want to run down his contract

Selling him for 20-25M might works but only EPL Clubs would meet his wage demands. If he reduces his wages then all the clubs will come to him even juve would like to keep him but wage problem

He was visibly unhappy last year. I think this isn't a coach thing he doesn't like something in the management core of the company.

If its as simple as he doesn't like the old or new coach that would be disappointing and out of character. We stood by him during his injuries and it'd be great if he returned the favour.

Motta not having a use for him is odd. When he's good he's excellent, any time could find a use for him somewhere I think. Not sure I believe Motta telling him he's useless

Do you think Inter could afford his wage demands? They usually lowballing even for a expiring contract player. Zielinski signed for net salary €4.5m/year. They still negotiate to extend Dumfries contract that expired in 2025.

And if they kept Inzaghi who play 3-5-2. Chiesa probable position is not as winger but SS. Will Chiesa want to continue play as SS ?

I think It's more about Motta doesn't rating him highly than believing he is useless. Chiesa also seems very arrogant for a player who has never been consistently world class. If he want to finish his contract here and go to Inter next year, just leave him out of the team for the next 12 months.

I don't believe in these bullshit Inter rumors, maybe he offered himself to Inter, but they didn't come forward. doesn't make sense since they have plenty of good strikers. it's not worth the risk unless he willing to cut down his wage and accept the bench role.

Power move by mgmt and coach. Not going to pussyfoot around with agent+player. If he wants to stay then they have to negotiate. If not then more power to him to shop a suitor. Jj hopefully learning from the mistakes of the recent past

Chiesa is an idiot... he won't get anywhere near the salary we offered for him. Every team is gonna low ball him if we send him to the stands. He either gives in and try to fix whatever remains of this relationship or he risks ruining his career. It's upsetting to see this kind of behavior from somebody that we spent so much on and waited for him to recover so long.

This has nothing to do with motta or his system it’s solely the contract situation or Juve forcing him out.

It’s not like motta has an alternative - as of today he is by far the best winger we have in the squad
