well.. there you go, clear as water
I am now more convinced than ever that if Chiesa somehow decides to force his stay and try run down his contract he will likely be benched for the whole year, Juve really wants him out and are sending clear signals that there’s no two ways about it, i think that even the bridge year contract proposal is no longer on the table anymore.

If he was a key player for Motta, he would get the contract he want, just like they are overpaying for Todibo or Koopmeiners because Motta want them.
How can Motta overturn a board decision for a player that has done nothing but prove their case in the last few years where he’s been struggling with injuries and unreliable when needed most, and now asks for an undeserved pay rise when the club is actively trying to reduce the salary of all high earners.

Well done, you described well some of the reasons why he isn't a key player for Motta. The offer was what Juve deemed appropriate for Chiesa, and the lack of interest on him from another clubs confirms Giuntoli and Motta have a point on not counting on him.

Point is that Chiesa already showed signs of a broken relationship with Juve long before Motta even had the possibility to have a major say in it, otherwise i guess it’s also fair to assume that perhaps more recently Motta also wasn’t willing to go all in and push for him to stay either in those circumstances.

This is looking exactly like Conte and Icardi. Watch them give the 7 to Koopmeiners while he’s still at the club just to force him out.
Doubt it, I mean we are clear with him and kinda ruthless, but should and probably will keep ut classy. Notice how di Gregorio didn't take #1 out of the respect to Szczesny too

JJ socials in meltdown. Hes overrated anyway, not the same player he was in the euros and I dont see him getting better anytime soon. Him and Vlahovic for that matter. I won't shed any tears if either of them left.

It's exactly like the tension between Allegri and Ronaldo. Allegri didn't include CR7 in his plan and benched him in the first match of season, he clearly trying to push Ronaldo out. Motta keep trying to drive chiesa away with ignoring him.

I wouldn’t necessarily compare the two cases as there are very few similarities, for example i think Allegri had way more of a say in that case compared to what Motta is dealing with now, and also CR7 was mainly in a better position to decide his own future himself.

Truth is the club has to push forward this narrative that the coach does not see how he can fit him in the team or that he does not like the player for various ‘footbaling’ reasons, just in case he tries to force his exit as a free agent we need to have a good background story to justify sending him to the stands and avoid being dragged to court because of it.

Thiago Motta: Chiesa ? He, like the others who remained in Turin, apart from Miretti who is injured, must find a solution as soon as possible. We have been clear, we have already spoken to each of them" ❌⚪️⚫️
that's how you are guaranteed to undersell your only italian star player

appreciate the clear talk but this is just silly as fuck

This is really looking like silly amateur hour. Not just Chiesa, but devaluing the market of a 3rd of the squad because we keep repeating they were left back home because they are unwanted and out of the project. The effect of that can't be underestimated.

calm down. this doesn't matter at all because the club is focused on the important issues like getting a 4th goalie.

He should have learned from the Dybala situation. Dybala was asking for more than 10m a year only to end up with half of that at Roma.
Agreed, maybe we also need to learn as a club to avoid situations where players are able to enter the final year of their contract, as it has rarely worked out well for us in recent years (yes a lot of it was previous management).
Rabbit fleecing another year on high wages and leaving anyway. The sour Dybala debacle. CR7 going right at the end of the market and we end buying Kean as a late replacement.

jj waited 3 years for him to get back into shape and he wants to walk away for free? if he really has an agreement with marotta for next summer then that's an adequate description

again, if. i wouldn't go that far just yet
Total agree with you bro, but let's be honest, it's not like Juve had a choice either. At the same time, if we cant find an agreement on an extension and he only gets looks from places he doesn't want to go to, that doesn't make him a bad guy in my book. But if he does end up at inter, then he definitely a fokin kaka roach.
