Never been a huge fan of Chiesa, but he’s better than Weah. I think we tried to gamble with this dude’s contract and now we are going to have to sell him for a cut rate deal or lose him for free. I guess if the only thing that matters is cutting the wage bill, then it doesn’t matter which option we take. But I think it’s possible to dislike this player and the management in this scenario.

Weah is Chiesa’s replacement?

Part of the problem is that if Chiesa’s wages were half of what they are, there works be many clubs lining up for him.

Last year he played as a support striker. While that was arguably not his best position, his output was very mediocre given that position naturally should mean more goals and assists than a typical winger. So why pay him 5m net?. The only way that could be possible if he is a free agent but he works be frozen or if the squad and therefore won’t get that kind of pay.

CHIESA GONE' ‍️
[First Page CdS]

Juve, 2-2 against Brest. Fede excluded by Motta: it's the final rift. Ramadani returns from the blitz in London: Premier cold. Giuntoli is waiting for him. Now the price drops. Relaunch for Koop: €50M and bonus. Vlahovic and Danilo sign the draw.

Well, I guess this depends on what attributes Motta is looking for. But I doubt he'd decline having Chiesa ok the roster if not for the rest...

We can speculate on a load of things but this probably makes most sense as to why the management would want to freeze him out and sell him in this window asap

He must be talking to Inda already

Totally this and I wouldn't be surprised if Inter does yo him what he did to Dybala in the end

Chiesa to Inda doesnt even make sense given that they play a 3 man backline but we know that one-eyed douchebag Marotta likes to make these kinda moves just to spite the other club. Can't deny that he used to do this at JJ too though

Ofc and he has all the right to do this if the player is dumb enough.
